Meet the Manager

John O.

Manager

After graduating from Harvard Law School John spent sixteen years with Bell Boyd & Lloyd, a large firm in Chicago that is now the international firm of K & L Gates. He was a partner at BBL for 8 years, practicing primarily in real estate law and development.

In 1990, John joined the Resolution Trust Corporation (the «RTC»). The RTC liquidated the real estate holdings of failed savings and loan associations. After 3 years with the RTC he spent 12 years with SunChase Holdings an investment company that purchased one of the largest portfolios of real estate assets ever sold by the RTC. During his years with the RTC, and SunChase he began spending more time in bankruptcy law and real estate workouts. Some of the development projects that he work on included housing subdivisions in 10 different states, commercial property, and a development in France.

In 2010, John formed Breen & Olson with Dennis Breen, which later became Breen Olson & Trenton, LLP.
