C2 Moving

Half my move over with– packed up and loaded. Delivery to Tennessee is for Saturday. Dre and his team was incredibly professional. 4 nice guys in total who worked hard and fast to get my huge load packed on on the truck in 6 hours.
I’ve moved many times and the team from C2 were among the best I’ve used. Since I did not have the time to bid it out I can’t speak about price. Maybe it was a bit high but I’m rather pay more and get great movers than go cheap and cry later. All in all 5 start so far. Will pot again Saturday, 2 days from now, when my good are delivered!
Be concerned about very low scores from some reviewers, It is not uncommon for competitors to write bad reviews. A sad business practice but a sign of the times. I am a real person and will respond if you ask me.

This was the shortest move we have every done, with the least amount of stuff (we sold all of our furniture to start new), and it was also by far the most expensive, and took the longest.
We requested 3 movers, as well as packing our kitchen for an Angie’s List deal. The day of the move, 2 movers showed up with no packing material. So, someone dropped of packing material and another mover (who definitely did NOT want to work that day!).
We moved boxes (all already packed), 1 queen bed, dresser, small couch, crib, and baby’s changing table. This took over 6 hours to load. We moved about 5 miles, and the entire move lasted from 7 past 5pm. Then we were charged over $ 1000. My husband complained, and we were told now over 10 days ago we would receive $ 250 back. Charles was supposed to drop it off, but apparently, someone dropped it in the mail over a week ago, and this check is no where to be found.
There are plenty of movers out there. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. Not sure how these guys have A rating on Angie’s List…

Poor customer service. They play tricks to try and keep your belongings. The business manager (some large horrid woman) was/​is the rudest individual on the face of this earth. She lied about the operating hours in order to shorten the amount of time to retrieve my things. She also sent the forklift driver home early so I couldn’t access my bins instead putting them all at ground level while the forklift driver was there. Unfortunately I had to get an attorney involved. If you plan on moving and see this business, let your fingers keep walking.

Every single person I worked with from the office person, Anabelle, to the estimator, Anthony, to the movers (Sammy, Victor, Joaquin, Amato) and the owner, Charles, were professional and customer centered. I had a house full of boxes moved so I could show my house and put it up for sale. They were to come between 7 and 7:30 AM. They were here at 7:15 and after two hours, they were done. I thought it would take all day. They were polite, efficient, hard-​working, extremely careful, and clever. I am a very skeptical person so I watched to see that I would get what was guaranteed – and I am delighted to say, I got so much more. I always ask people who do work for me if they like their boss because I think that says a lot about the company in general. And they like their boss very much; in fact, they rave about him. This was a coupon deal but they will move my furniture to Denver from Phoenix as soon as my house is sold. Now I know I can relax about it and just worry about selling my house. Finally, something good has happened to us during this home sale process.

Terrible! So many hidden charges. They moved my home to a storage unit and once they were done the movers told me that their facility offered free storage. Really thanks? Also, I called to complain about the charges and no mention of storage and was told I was wrong by the front desk and owner. Stay away. It’s hard to find a good moving company.

My aunt hired C2 Moving for her move from her home in Phoenix to a new home a few miles away. My niece and I drove from San Diego to assist her during the move and I was so impressed with the crews C2 sent. They arrived on Monday morning, prompt and ready to get to work. While we had managed to pack most items, there was still quite a bit to do, and they came in and finished packing, loading and organizing. The crew on Monday was amazing, quick and so nice. They took great care of her things and expertly filled the 26′ truck, I don’t know how they managed!
They were working in 100 plus degree heat, and looked happy to be there! Since she wasn’t moving into her new house until Wednesday, they took the truck to their temp controlled storage facility and were to return to her new home on Wednesday to unload.
A new crew arrived on Wednesday and was even more amazing (which is pretty impressive). They unloaded quickly, and were so helpful and considerate of my aunt’s things, especially since they had to separate items (due to remodeling, she had decided to continue storing some of the larger art pieces and furniture for another month) so they had to unload, and then reload items for storage. Again it was incredibly hot and they were all smiles and positive attitudes! One of them even helped my aunt hang clothes, and put away all of her shoes.
It was a very stressful time for my aunt and C2 helped to alleviate a lot of that stress. Overall, they were on site Monday from 7:30 until almost 7 at night and again on Wednesday from 12:30 until about 4 (not to mention having to unload again at their storage facility). The rate for this two day move was quoted at a flat rate and was very reasonable. They had to pad, wrap and shrink wrap many valuable pieces of art, statues and furniture as well as box half of a 3000 plus sq ft home. The value for the charge was well worth it!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about all of the movers from C2, Jose, Frank, Brandon (and a few names I don’t remember, sorry! They were all fantastic); but I want to make sure to give special mention to Alex, who was overseeing the move on both days. He was not only efficient and great at making the move seamless and easy on my aunt, but he was friendly and nice and treated us like family.
I highly recommend this company; it is evident that the customer, and their items, is valued above everything. You will be in the absolute best hands with this company and crew (s).

I interviewed five different moving companies and got five different bids on the cost of the moving job. I was impressed with Charles the owner that he seemed very aware of everything that had to be done and asked all of the right questions. He made a note of everything. He called back that afternoon with the bid for the moving job and his bid for the job was the lowest bid for the job. But that was not the reason I chose his company to do the job. We agreed to the moving date and he told me that his men would arrive on the job at eight o-​clock on Monday morning. They arrived at seven-​thirty. Victor and Antony were all smiles from the beginning and started to work immediately after appraising everything that had to be moved. I was amazed from the beginning. Everything in the house was shrink wrapped and then covered in blankets and tied and then shrink wrapped again. The two men never stopped moving. But the whole time they worked, they coordinated between the two of them and were always smiling and easy to talk with. The prep took longer than they had estimated and the last piece of furniture was finished by noon. They left for the drive to Las Vegas and I drove ahead to be there when they arrived. They got to Vegas at five in the evening and the unloading started immediately. They placed every piece of furniture where I indicated and even carried some of the furniture upstairs. They also were unwrapping all of the pieces. The unloading took until about eight and I was more than happy to take both men who were now more like two friends to dinner at a local casino before they started their drive back to Phoenix that evening. Bottom line — it was the most incredibly good experience in moving that I have ever had and I would never consider any other movers for the job. Great owner. Great movers. Great job. Called for a quote and for a two bedroom apartment the owner quoted my a price of $ 650. I am moving right down the street. No stairs. Both single level. I will be going with another company. Also, C2 Moving and Packing has lots of additional fees so eventhough there is a group-​on price, they charge extra for mattress pads, shrink wrap and gas. Not competitive pricing.
