My mother just relocated from the Scottsdale area to San Luis Obispo, CA and Camelback did an OUTSTANDING job of moving her. The crew busted their hump from beginning to end and nothing was missing or broken. A special thanks goes to Anthony, the head cheese at Camelback, as he went out of his way to make sure everything was how it should be. He also discounted our charges by several hundred dollars when he didn’t have to. This is a hard working, honest moving company. What more could you ask for? Thanks again Camelback!!!

Scheduled Camelback Moving for my move based on the positive Unilocal reviews and they lived up to my every expectation. Marvin and Robert did a great job on my move. They showed up in time and worked quickly to pack and load my things. They took great care to wrap and pad my furniture to protect it. After the move Tim called to ensure the experience met my expectations. It absolutely did. I will definitely use them again.

Thoroughly pleased with Camelback movers! Alex and his guys were great! On time, and hard working while polite and mindful of our stuff. Would recommend them to anyone. Couldnt have been nicer and the whole experience, from booking with Josh to getting the last box off the truck was stress free

We had a wonderful moving experience with this company. They were prompt, fast, and careful. Frank, Ali and Zaya were professional, friendly and attentive. Moving is never fun, but I have to say that they made it very easy. There was no breakage and they were super careful of the bamboo floors in the new house.
The customer service on the phone was very good. My questions were answered and my phone calls returned promptly. The actual cost came in under the estimate. how cool is that?

Recently had a local move which I was not looking forward to. I had read so many negative reviews about very bad experiences with local movers that I was very concerned. I called Camelback Movers and I had a A++ experience. From my first call to set up an initial appointment with Larry to the last sign off on the move completion the Camelback team was totally first class. Our move team leader was Eddie and he and his team of 3 others were fantastic. All were very professional, very focused on total care of our furniture from the wrapping, loading and unloading. I must also say, don’t be fooled by Oscar’s size, he is one very, very strong dude.
Bottom line we had a total first class experience and I would highly recommend Camelback Movers to anyone who has a local move in their future. Great job guys!!!

We used them on ⁵⁄₂₅ to move from Fountain Hills to Peoria, AZ.
Two trucks, four men arrived on time. They packed the two trucks, drove to Peoria and unloaded the same day. We lived in a 3000 square foot home with loads of storage. They were careful with our belongs loading and unloading. Nothing was damaged. I could not believe the work these four men did in one day.
You can’t go wrong using this company. From the day I made the call for an estimate, the phone people were helpful. Larry came out and walked thru before the move to give me a quote and estimate on the time it would take. We thought we would have to have everything picked up and stored overnight and then delivered the next day. This is what I scheduled. One week before, I found out I could get into the home the same day as the pick up. I called Camelback and they accommodated me. They figured the most cost effective way.
Everyone I spoke with at this company went above and beyond. Always pleasant, always helpful.

These guys are pure artists, how they fit all our stuff in the truck was amazing. They were also nice guys and I had no problem having them pick our house. They we’re friendly and professional. I would absolutely use them again.

I’ve previously used camelback moving to move my 1 bedroom apartment and they were fantastic. So when we were getting ready to move out of our 3 bedroom house into a new house I decided to use them again. And yet again they were fantastic! All 3 guys were really nice and got the job done fast. They wrapped all the furniture really well and put everything back together that they had to take apart.

Very happy with Camelback Movers even though they put a hole in the wall (They took responsibility and fixed it). Frank O and his crew were energetic, careful (except when one tripped on the stairs), and had great attitudes. They actually seemed to have fun moving our stuff! They worked relentlessly and did a great job packing some of our things into our storage unit. They deftly maneuvered big things up and down winding stairs.
I have to move again in 6 months and I will be using Camelback Moving again. Well worth it.

Camelback Moving did an awesome job on our move from Chandler to Phoenix. Toby and his crew showed up on time and executed our move flawlessly. I was very impressed by their professionalism and work ethic. They accommodated moving our high-​end 48″ range that weighed over 400lbs. I can’t say enough about these guys, highly recommend!

Hats off to both crews that moved us! We had a three man crew the first day. They had to deal with two bedrooms upstairs. The truck was packed to the rafters. Everyone kept moving and they took great care to protect our items with shrink wrap and blankets.
The second crew arrived at our new home a day later (as requested) because of one of many foul ups by our buyers mortgage company (Suburban mortgage/​the worst/​see my previous review). The two man crew kept moving as well and did an excellent job. They asked questions on placement and took care not to damage our goods or the new house. Thank you to both crews. We only had two things broken during this move and that was completely our doing.
A special mention goes to Stephanie in the office. She handled our scheduling, re-​scheduling and rerescheduling (again thanks to the above named mortgage company) with patience, kindness and understanding. She was so very helpful, and even though the guys did all the physical labor, she was the icing on the cake of our great experience with Camelback moving.
I will heartily recommend this company.

Used these guys again, this time had Robert and Rickie, and just like last time, they were awesome. Took great care of my stuff, they were very quick, and very respectable and cant say enough, I’ll continue to use camelback. Not to mention they got me in with 2 days notice.

Owner of the company contacted me to apologize, explain what happened, and described how they are improving to prevent a repeat of my experience. We landed with other movers, but it was a great gesture on his part.

So, my wife and I are moving and contacted Camelback Moving. They did a wonderful job for us in 2012.
We received an initial response with some odd numbers (e.g., rate = $ 15 000/​hour) and replied with a few questions and to confirm a reservation. No response. Emailed the representative, Stephanie B, again. Still no reply.
After a week, I left work early and called. The response: We are booked, now. Little excuse for putting a customer in that kind of a spot because you forget to respond to emails.
So, we’ll scramble to find alternative movers. Very much a letdown after having a great experience with them in the past. But, can’t recommend them anymore with that big a fail.

I just used these guys for my move yesterday, and I can’t say enough how happy I am with the service we got. I almost chose 2 Men and a Truck again, as I used that company last time, but the reviews for Camelback Movers were so good I felt safe trying them out and wanted to see what everyone is raving about. Now I know.
First off, before my move, customer service took a thorough inventory over the phone. They explained different insurance coverages available and helped me estimate how long the move would take. I was able to pick the time of day that worked best for me and got a special rate thanks to a promotion /​an off-​peak moving day. Be advised there is a trip fee, which some competitors don’t have, but please believe me when I tell you Camelback Movers is worth it.
The movers 1. Called about half an hour before arrival and 2. Were on time to the minute. I had a two man crew and they were both friendly, personable, funny and absolute work horses. They provided us with wardrobe boxes we filled while they were taking apart my L-​shaped sectional– which, by the way, they «fixed». It’s a power recliner at either end of the L and one of them was stuck in the up position for over a year now. Turned out it was faulty wiring in the power source and using a different power source they were able to put down the recliner. Awesome. They wrapped said leather recliner in thick furniture pads and then shrink wrapped it before moving it, the same with our (heavy) wooden kitchen table with lazy Susan, and my bed’s leather headboard. One of them (I’m sorry I forgot your names guys) remarked «We’re gonna keep it pretty!»
None of my furniture was damaged and no boxes were handled roughly. The move ended up taking about what we had estimated at the beginning and I was more than happy with the price. My boyfriend was very pleased as well and thought it was so kind that when they left, one of the men told him «it would be an honor to be pulled over by you». It was nice to have movers that didn’t mind we are law enforcement.
Lastly, while moving, I somehow managed to get a complete tear in my ACL. It started as a minor work injury and steadily got worse until it just ripped and I buckled. It happened at the new residence and I was fighting off tears as my boyfriend helped me walk to the car to go to the hospital. The movers saw what kind of pain I was in and advised my boyfriend they were going to work as hard and fast as possible so that he could come be with me, and I really really appreciate that. I was in a LOT of pain and I was pretty embarrassed. They finished up in 7 minutes.
I’m now laid up in the beautiful new house with a full leg brace, all my furniture is set up beautifully and looks fantastic from the move, all the boxes are where they need to be. I’m really happy with the service we got and if we had the money I would want to re-​hire our crew to come UNpack for me while I lay here. Lol! Thank you Camelback Movers, if we move again in 2 years we’re hiring you again no question.

Camelback Movers just moved us from tri-​level condo in Phoenix to our home in California. In addition they packed up our small storage unit at a different location. The walk through was very detailed and professional. Quote was very reasonable. Communication level was great. They came promptly to pack up the truck. Delivery was on time as well. I appreciated that there was continuity of a staff member with our belongings from Phoenix to LA. Can’t comment on any broken items in boxes as I have not unpacked yet but on cursory glance furniture looks good. Definitely recommend anyone to move with them.

Absolutely great service start to finish. When issues came up they were met head on, no one tries to cover anything up. Honest, courteous and industrious, what more could you ask from a moving company? I will absolutely recommend them and will use them again! They make moving really simple.

I used this company to load and unload a pod (laborers only) on two separate occasions. I was worried on the initial load, as I knew it was going to be tight and needed someone with expertise. Joseph and his partner did a fantastic job. They worked hard and were very friendly. I asked if I could request him again when the time came to unload the pod (5 months later) and he said yes. The time rolled around and there was Joseph and his partner for the unload. Not one thing was damaged and again they both worked hard to get the job done. They were great. The office staff was friendly when making the appointments and getting reminders. They definitely are 5 stars!!!

I highly recommend them which is rare for moving companies. They are well run, a good value and they go the extra mile and provide great service locally and nationally and for storage.

Overall, a very smooth experience – which is exactly what you would want from a moving company. They were able to schedule my move on pretty short notice (about 4 days in advance). The guys showed up exactly on time and worked hard to get it done in a reasonable amount of time with no damaged items. I would definitely use them again.

My boyfriend and I were headed to my apartment to meet them when we were involved in a minor accident. I called the office and told them what happened, they had the movers waiting on standby for when we could get there and they didn’t charge extra.
They were friendly, professional, and efficient. I have had movers in the past (other companies) who scratched the crap out of my furniture, but they took the time to wrap everything. Nothing had so much as a dent on it.
We had them move things from my old apartment to my new apartment, and also some stuff to storage. Each trip, they were minutes behind me. No breaks, no wondering where they were.
The prices are so reasonable too! Highly highly recommended :-)

We had a great move with Camelback Moving. All three of the moving crew arrrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. Even though it was a long day, since there was a 3 hours drive time in between the pack up to the unpacking, they were still smiling and working hard. Out of 3 movers used for my trek from Los Angeles, CA to Goodyear, AZ with 30+ years worth of fine sculptural art to move, Camelback Moving was the most efficient, professional and a great value from point of customer service to actual moving day! Chris, Dan, Alfonso & Chad were great! This was an exceptional experience and I encourage you to consider their moving service.

I have used them twice and had a great experience every time. They took very good care of all boxes and furniture and took extra time wrapping a few special pieces of furniture. They show up on time and are prepared with dollies and tools. I will definitely be using Camelback again!

On Thursday these guys called me to tell me the earliest they could delivery the bed I ordered from Costco was on Tuesday. I later called them on Saturday morning asking if I could come pick up the bed from their warehouse. Because at this point I had moved and had been sleeping on an air mattress for the last two weeks. Chris (who is the man!) said I could, but within minutes called me back saying he’d found a way to get the bed delivered to me within the hour! Which is additionally amazing because I live in North Scottsdale, completely opposite end of town! I’ll be contacting them again in the future for any services they provide.

These guys are awesome! We had a difficult three stage move and they were absolute professionals. Alex and his crew never stopped working and they took excellent care of our belongings. They arrived on time each day and were very clear about the charges.
I would not hesitate to use them again!

I had the opposite experience as most other posters. I first reached out to Camelback moving because of their strong Unilocal reviews on ⁹⁄₂₇. Although someone reached out to me right away, getting an actual quote was a nightmare. I wanted to get two quotes — one for them to handle our whole out-​of-​state move and one for their movers to just pack our house for us and we would haul it ourselves. After weeks of back and forth, never getting firm numbers on price and being passed from person to person, and not having people call me back, I finally got told today (¹⁰⁄₂₀), less that two weeks before our move, that they aren’t available when we need them. Note: I gave them a really open schedule of a Wednesday-​Saturday for a three man job and they are now booked. Seriously unimpressed.

I only have positive remarks about Camelback Moving. From the point of getting an estimate to the final delivery of our household goods, the entire process went without a glitch. I’ve used Camelback Moving twice; Labor Day 2014 (Barstow, CA to Phoenix) and then an in town move here in Phoenix back in February of 2015. The two moves were seamless AND stress free. The move from Barstow was tough (in my opinion) on the two gents because they had come from Vegas with a semi and couldn’t park their trailer close to my apartment. As such, they had to maneuver through the apartment complex with heavy furniture but not a single complaint from either of them. I believe their names were Cody and Roberto… top notch!
On my second move, (I forgot their names), the two gents had to put up with my yelling (not directed against them but at the apartment complex management company who did not install a working air conditioner motor). They continued their move (up and down the stairs) promptly and without any damage to my belongings. Again, a top notch team!
Both times the teams were on time, respectful, and courteous. The billing department was honest and even refunded me a portion of the second move as they had accidentally overcharged me. They are the best!

Joe and Jason moved me to a 3^rd floor apartment in July weather. They were so awesome, friendly, Careful with my things, and stayed on the go making every minute count. Awesome guys and will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs movers. They also put the bed together for us which was above and beyond to me and so helpful.

I recently moved using this company. They had a special for a reduced rate to move on Sunday which was perfect because Sunday was the best day for us. I had used a different company before and they didn’t offer Sunday moving. I found this company by using Unilocal.I had such a good experience I wanted to return the favor by adding my own review.
I chose three movers and a truck. We had moved all the boxes and small items ourselves and only had large furniture items to move. Lots of glass and nice wood items. I was worried about damage since I had it happen before. I must say I was blown away by how professional, efficient, and careful the movers were with my items. Not only did the move happen in the amount of time I had hoped for, but everything arrived in perfect condition. Our team of guys were great! I hope I don’t have to move again for a long time, but if I do I will use Camelback Moving again. I will also recommend to my friends.

If you want professional and quick, these guys are great! They moved our stuff in about 4 hours. (We didn’t have many things!) :)
However, I give them 3 stars because the staff were professional, yes, but didn’t seem very friendly. The last moving company I hired, the staff were very friendly and talkative! It’s nice to have people who are very personable when they are handling all of your personal stuff! Also, one of the movers broke a glass vase of ours, with a very robotic apology to make up for it. Grant it, the vase was not highly valuable, but what if it was? Would I get the same «meh» apology? I just felt like that was kind of lame. You break something of someone’s and then just shrug your shoulders about it, as if I should have expected that to happen!
Anyway, besides that, it was a good move. They are a very professional and quick company, I will not argue that. But I feel as though they could have done better in their customer service.

Moving is a complete pain but luckily companies like Camelback Moving exist to make the experience a little less painful. I also suggest being pregnant when you move because then you get out of lifting heavy boxes!
I’ve hired Camelback Moving several times over the last decade and they have always been my favorite movers in town. Now here’s the trick. You need to be with the movers while they are moving your stuff so that they don’t stall, but as long as you do, they work hard and quickly!
For our recent move, we were a mover’s nightmare because our condo complex is the least moving-​friendly condo complex in town. Half the time was spent walking back and forth. However, Frank and Alex, the two Camelback Moving movers (along with my husband who was a rockstar during this whole moving process), saved the day and worked incredibly hard to get the move done. Frank and Alex were super nice to work with, they worked hard and they were very friendly along the way! The price is very reasonably priced with a one time trip charge, plus $ 70 an hour for two movers and a truck. I hope I don’t move again anytime soon, but whenever I need a moving company, i will know to turn to Camelback Moving!
