Nathan was very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. The service was great & they even hand washed our car & leveled off all of the fluids for our free 1^st oil change. All of this was done very quickly & well.

Let me start by saying I have always had terrible experiences with car dealers. Chapman Mazda was different. Rob Riley was such a great guy and there was NEVER any pressure to buy! I came in thinking about getting a used vehicle. I ended up with a brand new Mazda 3 after hours of test driving several vehicles. With the rebates offered, new was the way to go and Rob helped me through the entire process. I highly recommend Chapman Mazda and Rob Riley if you’re in the market for a vehicle!

Ive had it with the service department. First of all when i bought the car i was promised $ 29 oil changes for the life of the car. Less than a year later it was no longer being honored. Next they started enforcing appointment times for oil changes (latest appt is 3:30). For someone that has a job, thats a little challenging. Not to mention the worlds most annoying service advisor Nik will try and up sale every service known to man (not to mention repeat himself over and over and over again until you either buy the service or cut him off). Not to mention it somehow takes them at least an hour to change oil. The final strike is due to having a job, i was 30 min late for my oil change appointment and was informed that all the techs went home… it was 4 pm… service hours are up to 6 pm… Congrats on losing a future car sell (ive purchased 3 cars from chapman dealerships).

I normally don’t go to dealerships to get service done. Let’s be honest, all dealerships have typically high prices. However, I had an issue with my Mazda that smaller auto shops couldn’t figure out. I decided to bring my car in and I was completely impressed. The service was really fast and every one was very honest and friendly. I was really happy that the issues I was having with my car were resolved the same day. If you’re needing to get your Mazda repaired, I highly recommend this location over the other dealerships (and especially don’t go to Camelback Mazda, trust me).

The service department is amazing. The girl Jennifer and guy who I think is. Nathaniel. Are sooooo courteous. They are knowledge and honest. They work out a good system with enterprise rental car.
The auto shop department has been wonderful too… Had to use them twice. They are quick. And give decent prices and found ways for the fix to be cheaper if possible. They also explain what was going on and what they had to do.

I have used Chapman repair service and collision services and have been extremely pleased with both. I was even given an extra surprise recently when I worked with Jennifer while my car was in for servicing and discovered she was the same Jennifer that I had worked with previously at the dealership where I purchased my car. She brings class to the term «service». Although my car was brought in for some simple items and a recall matter, I can guarantee that Chapman customer service is a level above all the rest… and their body shop does phenomenal work!

Interesting that I never stepped foot in this dealership and never will because the only interaction I had was with the Internet sales manager. I went online to look at a price for a Mazda 6 and even clicked on the button that said «get a quote». For some reason I guess this meant I wanted emails and phone calls from him asking when I wanted a test drive. How about just getting me what I asked for? I’ll tell YOU if I want to test drive a car or not.
So I told him through email that I wasn’t interested in a test drive only to be followed up with a question about whether or not I «STILL» intended on buying a Mazda 6? Where in my online inquiry for a freakin’ price quote did I say I intended on buying one or wanted to test drive one?
From a customer service standpoint when someone says «I no longer want to do business with you» it isn’t an invite to keep emailing me. But there was definitely a learning disability with this guy because he emailed me again. I received a rude email from him asking why I’d inquire about a price if I didn’t intend on buying one? And suggested that the Internet could’ve satisfied all my questions about prices. First of all I don’t know anyone who’d buy something with knowing the price first. And guess what buddy? I DID go online for a price and all I got was you hounding me about a stupid test drive. Thanks for sparing me the frustration of going into the dealership Nick! I appreciate it.

This dealership has by far one of the BEST service departments I have ever been to. I needed to get my vehicle serviced and I spoke and did business specifically with Jennifer & Nate. They were both professional and courteous. They were very knowledgable and helpful. Normally I dread going to these places because of the sales pressure that many service people put on customers to get them to buy different services. Not here! No pressure! Just a friendly professional atmosphere! Thank you Jennifer and Nate! Thank you Chapman Mazda!

I brought my vehicle in for service and was greeted with a smile. I have never had such great customer service like I had at Chapman Mazda. They have a customer for life.

Came in to buy either a Mazda or Hyundai. Zac was so helpful he pulled both models that I liked side by side so I could do a comparison. He was informative without being pushy. I would highly recommend purchasing from him or any other salesman at this dealership!

I purchased my Mazda 6 here and part of the package was oil changes at 9.99 or 39.99 synthetic for the lifetime, however they have never honored this, figured it would be part of my information so 1^st oil change took it in advised of the lower price they looked at me like I had two heads and argued with me. So I finally found proof that I was told this took it in they said sorry had a change of ownership and we don’t honor that deal. Never did they send information to their customers given this deal saying they are discontinuing. I also ha be an issue with the paint on my bumper peeling and cracking the rest of the car still looks brand new they said it is do to being in a collision I have never had an accident but yet again no help. I am planning on purchasing another car soon but will not buy or recommend them. Save your self the trouble after purchase and buy somewhere else.

If you go here pick Troy as your salesman, he was awesome!!! He got me an outstanding deal on my 2016 Mazda 3 Touring with no hassle. Very honest cool guy.

I actually had a very pleasant buying experience at Chapman, and 2+ years later we are still happy with our CX-​5. However, service department is another story. This is so clearly a profit center for them (which is not surprising) that they are borderline abusive about it. I get far more calls and emails than I could ever want, though it has gone down some since I’ve asked to be removed from the list.
The big problem is the ridiculous up-​sell gauntlet that I have to run every single time I talk to anyone. I perform my own maintenance, and created a schedule with my mechanic to make sure everything would stay on track. I’ve explained this at least FOUR times to the same person during a SINGLE warranty service. Still, they have a checklist of ripoff maintenence schedule items I had to say no to all four times. Flush brake system and change fluid at 28k miles? With no issues reported? Seriously? There were about 10 things like this, and they kept thinking of ways to bring them up.
Chapman is conveniently located for me, but I think I’m going to have to try Camelback for the next issue because I just don’t want the hassle.

Chapman was the second place we went to. The first, which, out of courtesy, I won’t name, essentially tried to «steal» our trade in. Chapman was straight forward and fair from the get-​go. Rob Riley, the rep we dealt with was excellent throughout. Happy with both the car, and the process.

I stopped in with a couple of goals in mind. I ended up there for 2 hours with misinformation and was unable to accomplish half of what I wanted to. Any question that I had about lease pricing or models required a 15+ minute trip to the managers office. Multiple times I called Camelback Mazda while waiting and had the answer 10 minutes before my salesman returned from the managers office. If you don’t have the information, that’s fine, let me talk to the person that does or just take down my info and find out on your time. I was one of two people on the lot in two hours. If the manager had the answers I should have been talking to him. I am not a fan of wasting time or playing games.
I think that I prefer to do my shopping online or with a company like Toyota where information is accessible and shared. I can then use that information to make an informed decision after detailed comparison. No games or disrespect.
My salesman seemed fairly nice and personable but was either not competent and a hindrance to the process or playing stupid games. Either way, that doesn’t work for me.

On my 2^nd Mazda started taking my previous car here after brake and oil changes done at othe «discount» drive by places and messed car up. Chapman always serviced car well without «selling» other services not needed and when recommended work was offered they were understanding of financial situation and recommended on priorities. Purchased my 2^nd Mazda from them and they were phenomenal on working with my needs and financing. I find they are exceptional professionals!

Went there to get my car serviced. I paid 90 $ for oil change and tyre rotation and they told me I get a 18 point evaluation complimentary with this service. I reminded them that the air pressure in one of the tyre is less and the air pressure indicator appears when I start the car. After the service the indicator still appeared ! When I asked the service guy the reason he’s convinced me that he has checked all the tires and the indicator will disappear after a drive few miles … After two days when the indicator had not disappeared I checked it myself and found the air to be 18 in one tyre when the normal amount should be 35! Mazda chapman couldn’t figure out and rectify this after being told and reminded to do so and they claim to have done a 18 point evaluation ! I spent 200 $ on my car service and I have no guarantee and satisfaction about it .

We had a very nice experience buying a car at Chapman Mazda. A test drive with no pressure. Stopped in again to view the car — no pressure. Asked for a phone quote as we narrowed our decision. Received quote in five minutes. And unlike the funny business of some auto dealers whose internet quotes were entirely misleading, the Chapman out the door quote later proved to be accurate to the nearest dollar. Treated very professionally by salesman Shawn, an Army veteran who did tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan (a fact we found out only after we has committed and were waiting to sign).
Only stuck with a couple of minor high margin dealer add ons we didn’t really want, a $ 400 window tint and a $ 200 security etching, but well below the abusive levels of some other auto dealers. Simply said we didn’t want the car alarm and paint protection. No squabbling and no «it’s already on the car» arguments. A Mazda corporation extended warranty was also offered on signing, to which you can say yes or no, but at least it’s a better option than conflicted dealer specific programs or non auto manufacturer programs sometimes offered elsewhere.
We can’t comment on the merits of the service department. Noted the number of Unilocalers upset by discontinuation of a «lifetime» $ 9.99 oil change when management changed. I’d be upset too. Hoping for the best.
We typically like to use buying programs or internet contacts to avoid the hassle of haggling. We undermined ourselves this time by indecision which brand/​model to purchase, exposing us to some pretty abusive sales practices. While still an auto dealer, the culture at Chapman is not nearly as corrupt as we saw elsewhere.

So most of us do not like dealing with Car dealerships, and I normally always call the internet department as you seem to get better service and are not subjected to the salesperson who swoops in as you walk from parking your car!
We were in the final stage of deciding WHICH car my wife wanted and wanted to test drive one last model as she had a day off and we were running Errands. We stopped to test drive one more model and decided that was the one… We were working with another dealership, but they had very little stock.
So before we walked out the door, they asked what they could do, with very low pressure. We told them and they surprised us by responding positively.
After some back and forth, we ended up getting that car that day (they had one in the color we wanted with just 4 miles on it).
So not a bad experience!!! Ask for Daisha Doolittle. Not only is she a salesperson, she actually is a Mazda zealot! LOL!!!

Rude staff. I inquired online about a car, went on vacation fir a few weeks, came home to about 10 emails from the online sales manager. We were no longer interested, so I asked them to stop emailing me. My response to this was a beyond rude and unprofessional email back from them. I will never go to a Chapman dealership.
