Comtrans would get me to and from doctor appointments, but several of the drivers were rude and talking on their cell phones the whole time. One time they were a half hour late picking me up which made me late for my appointment.

If you are looking for work, you might want to look elsewhere. I list experiences here and not opinion. If you are hired on full-​time for a shift, i.e.; 1 pm to 9:30 pm they don’t tell you in the initial interview that you are not paid for all 8.5 hours if you do not have assignments throughout the whole 8.5 hours, They call this «downtime» and will not pay you for this. Essentially, a full-​time 40 hour schedule can quickly turn into getting paid for only 30 hours. So much for making $ 10 an hour. They also do not pay for the half hour lunch, even though you are required to answer your radio for service calls during this time and have to drop you meal if you are called out. Fact # 2; They conveniently forget to tell you that even though you are hired for evenings, they have all training during early morning hours for a whole week and a half, so if you go to school during the day or work a day job, this is another issue. They also charge you for your uniforms and nickel and dime you for damage to the vehicle that the company deems is your fault regardless if it is or isn’t. A 40 hour week at this place = about 30 – 32 hours and a total of $ 260 weekly or $ 520 bi-​weekly after taxes. What a joke. Work as a cabbie and you can make more with less hassle. They also have so many supervisors and managers to micro manage you and ding you on your check rather than having a more positive environment and higher paying wages to the regular drivers. One supervisor has a horrible attitude; «Dusty» was very confrontational towards me on my first day of training thinking that I was a customer and not a staff. Stay far away folks.
