Detail Design and Fabrication, Inc. (DD&F) is a creative studio located in Phoenix that specializes in design, fabrication, installation of innovative signage and branded environments. DD&F partners with sport venues, museums, builders, architects, retailers, creative agencies and corporations looking to stand out in their competitive industry. DD&F’s specialties include creating custom and innovative signage, interactive exhibits, kiosks, marketing mobiles, pop displays, and large format printing for branded, retail, corporate and sponsorship environments. DD&F’s turnkey services also include all aspects of 3D components for interior or exterior environments, such as retail centers, sales offices and sports facilities.
History
Established in 1997.
DD&F was created because we found that there was a shortage of good fabricators. Working at a design firm at the time, it was painful to see the finished product being crafted with such poor quality, substituted materials and firms not being able to read electronic files the designers had so matiously set up.
That is when DD&F came to life. We are known for being able to create anything and everything. We create cool stuff on time and on budget using a wide variety of materials and techniques, including re-purposed and recycled materials. We love the challenge of figuring out how to turn a picture into reality. Our business has been built by word of mouth. Our reputation and delivered product means everything to us.

Business Owner
As the boss man at DD&F, Shad has more than 18 years of experience in industrial design, environmental graphics and fabrication. He graduated from ASU with a degree in Industrial Design and has captured several design awards in college and throughout his professional career. When he is not busy taking projects from paper to real life, he might be found at a D-backs game with his wife, Sandy and their kids or enjoying anything having to do with classic cars and off-road toys.
