Douglas Benting, DDS is a dentist and a Prosthodontist (mouth restoration specialist) located in the heart of Phoenix, AZ (E Bethany Home RD & N 7^th St). Our practice treats both general cases and the most complex cases, being experts in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Benting was chosen as Top Prosthodondist in the Valley for the last 5 years consecutively and was interviewed by AZ Channel 3 as a dental implant expert. His expert interviews were also featured on Fox News, CBS, NBC and ABC News.

Our Phoenix dental office is equipped with the latest computer technology allowing for the patient to be involved in creating a customized plan whether an aesthetic enhancement for one tooth, or for a complex dental rehabilitation. Dr. Benting and the knowledgeable, friendly staff are dedicated to providing each patient with an outstanding, long-​term dental treatment outcome in a comforting environment.

History

Established in 2006.

Dr. Douglas Benting graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with distinction in 1999, continuing on to complete a prosthodontic specialty residency program and earn a Master’s of Science in Dentistry in 2002. Dr. Benting remained at the University as a part-​time faculty member while working with a specialty group practice in Minnesota. The lure of warmer weather and outdoor activities as well as the opportunity to develop a patient-​centered prosthodontic practice instigated his move to Arizona in 2006.

Dr. Douglas Benting graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with distinction in 1999, continuing on to complete a prosthodontic specialty residency program and earn a Master’s of Science in Dentistry in 2002. He moved to Arizona in 2006 and opened a patient-​centered prosthodontic practice.

Dr. Benting is qualified as a Board Certified Prosthodontist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, the highest recognition of achievement afforded by the prosthodontic specialty. He actively participates in continuing dental education to stay current with advanced techniques and materials. He maintains active membership in the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), the Arizona section of the ACP, the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Arizona Dental Association. He has presented on several topics including dental implant supported restorations, dental treatment planning, and complete dentures.
