Dr. Jeff Music Lessons specializes in private music lessons for students ages 4 – 75. This includes piano, clarinet, flute, recorder, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, music theory, music composition, singing, and more! Dr. Jeff follows a humanistic approach to education, following your lead in what you want to learn about music while playing the music that interests you. Lessons are in depth, well-​rounded, and fun!

History

Established in 2013.

Dr. Jeff has been teaching private lessons since 2000 and began a career teaching private music lessons after graduating school in 2013. He has also taught general music K-​8 at a charter school.

Jeffrey O.

Business Owner

Originally from Chicago, Jeff has a DMA and MM in music from ASU and a BM in music from the University of Wisconsin-​Whitewater. Jeff writes music professionally and has been commissioned and performed by students at ASU and by the Arizona Wind Symphony. Jeff’s doctoral dissertation From Machine to Instrument: A composer’s Perspective of Turntables Composition is one of the first comprehensive guides to incorporating turntables with traditional classical instruments. Some of Jeff’s students have gone on to successful music careers at ASU, Juilliard, and are currently in New York City.
