Eddie’s Tavern serves beer, wine, champagne, hard alcohol, and various other drinks and liquors.
History
Established in 1959.
Eddie’s Tavern was established in 1959 by Eddie McIntyre. Eddie originally opened the bar to be a bar for Veterans, as Eddie himself was a Vet. Eddie’s is proud to say that 55 years later, we still like to call ourselves a Vet bar, even though our clientele ranges from all kinds of folks, and not all of them being Veterans. Most of its structure is exactly the same as it was from 1959, such as the bricks, foundation, floors, fireplace, etc. Inside the bar we have paintings of original customers from the 50’s and these giant murals/paintings were commissioned by Eddie himself, back in the 60’s. So you can literally drink next to the first customers of Eddie’s from 55 years ago.
The present day owners of Eddie’s Tavern are Scott and Steve, who have owned the bar for 6 years. Scott is a Marine and Steve is familiar with the inner workings of beer, having driven a beer truck himself, before becoming co-owner of Eddie’s.

BARTENDERS:
*Maggie, born in Egypt and raised in Detroit, has been a bartender in the valley since 1986.
*Jeanne worked as an engineer before becoming one of our daytime bartenders.
*Andi is our bombshell NASCAR enthusiast that has worked in the hospitality business for years.
*Marybeth, born in the summer of love, started as a customer of our bar over 8 years ago and loved it so much, she just had to work here!
*Kelly is our beautiful babe from Michigan! She too started off as a customer, friend and family member and now she works with us every Saturday morning!
*Jaxx, our free spirit from San Francisco, loves motorcycles & bar tending. She has a mouth as loud as the bikes she loves & is the wild child of Eddie’s!
*Ian, our newest hire as of June of 2013, has not only been a bartender at Sky Harbor Airport but also a Journalist major at ASU & now studies in Music Composition! Our only male bartender at Eddie’s and one hell of a New Yorker!
