Elite Event: MAD Greens Phoenix

Geez! I never realized I had this just saved in my drafts! So… a little late, but better than never!
I have never been to a bad Elite Event, so you know this one is obviously going to receive 5 stars as well!
MAD Greens was delicious! Its serving chipotle style and has a lot of salad options, panini options as well as a few pasta options!
There was a general area with veggies, tofu (which I had never had before but was surprisingly delicious to me), a few sandwich wraps and shrimp.
Honestly my favorite part of this event had to be all the delicious JUICES! Omg, I’m coming back just for the juices! So delightful and fresh!
I ordered the Annie Oakley panini that comes on sourdough bread with chicken, bacon, avocado and swiss cheese. My favorite things all stuffed into one sandwich! It was excellent but I was so full I couldnt even finish the other half of the sandwich!
When I left I grabbed myself a veggie corn stress ball which now all of my coworkers use at work when dealing with difficult clients. Haha! Always love these events!

About the business: MAD Greens stands for Marley and Dan (the two owners. awesome!) I like that we got to talk to one of the owners who has an excellent business model in place! I love that they get most (if not all) of their produce from local farms and support local business. I think the names of their sandwiches are awfully creative too. A+!

This was a fun and healthy event! We had the privilege of getting a sneak peek of the new MAD Greens in Phoenix. The staff was great with getting our order placed and were very friendly and efficient. We got to order anything we wanted off of the menu, I went with a «create your own» and my husband had the Don Quixote. To go with our salads; samples of juice, chicken curry salad & BLT wraps, and a trio of homemade hummus’ were served. They also had a variety of natural sodas and delicious iced teas. After enjoying all of our delicious food we were able to learn about the history of MAD Greens and how everything is sourced. All of their salad dressings are homemade and have natural ingredients which is great. My husband and I were both pretty lucky as I won the Instagram contest and Mike won the raffle. We both got to take home swag bags with lots of Unilocal goodies and gift cards to return. Thanks Unilocal and Gabi for giving us the VIP treatment once again!

WOW! What a fantastic event. The entire staff of MAD Greens was incredibly hospitable, and made sure there was plenty of food and drinks to go around. I LOVED the Don Quixote Salad, and was very impressed by the juices and sodas as well. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say I am so happy that MAD Greens is expanding so quickly and I look forward to trying them here, in Scottsdale, and in Tempe.

Trying to keep in mind that I’m reviewing the event and not our gracious host restaurant but it is a little difficult to separate the two especially when both were fun, the food was good, I our hosts both Unilocal and Mad Greens were super, the staff friendly and accomodating, and the facility clean, comfortable, and impressive. Kindly pardon the one sentence paragraph above, and thanks to Unilocal,Mad Greens staff and management. I think you have a recipe for success here.

What a fun event! It was my first time at a Mad Greens (I know, I know) and I took my boyfriend to this event and he got to see what all my «yelping» was about. I really like the concept of Mad Greens, they’re kind of like chipotle meets salads to me, but with wayyy more options. Everything was so fresh and you could really tell that Marley (the «M» in Mad Greens) is very passionate and is so knowledgeable about all of the food on their menu.
I loved my salad, which was the F.L.W, it had this awesome prickly pear-​tabasco vinaigrette and my boyfriend got the Don Quixote which I will definitely be getting next time, the flavors are just awesome in everything. I also loved the sample area, I tried all the hummus and the wraps (Bollywood was this chicken curry that everyone was obsessed with).
The raffle came up, and my boyfriend won an awesome swag bag that had the mad spice, a Unilocal pint glass, a really nice notebook and of course, fresh veggies (snap peas, which I ate with ranch). Big thanks to everyone at Unilocal and Mad Greens who put this together, because it was so fun and delicious. I’m right down the street from the Tempe Marketplace location and have been meaning to get over there, this just cemented my new lunch spot!

I haven’t had the chance to attend many events, but this was an awesome Unilocal event! I had the pleasure of meeting MAD Greens’ owner and the crew! And the staff were also amazing too!
Upon checking in I got a cute veggie carrot stress reliever ball. Then I put my name in for a raffle for Unilocal goodies… didn’t win, but maybe next time.
The menu was filled with hearty selections of salads named after characters. Clever and cute! I finally decided to go with the regular sized (vs large) Don Quixote salad: baby greens, grilled Piri Piri Shrimp, mango, roasted corn, jack cheese, avocado, creamy ginger dressing. I loved the flavors and combination of all the fresh ingredients. Tasty tasty! It was nice to be able to taste each ingredient! I should’ve gotten the large. I did finish the regular size.
In addition to a salad entrée, they had samplers set up. The Piri Piri shrimp, tofu, juicers (fresh raw fruits and veggies), wraps, and hummus! I tried the tofu — delish! There were 3 types of hummus: garlic, roasted beets, and spicy avocado. I don’t eat very spicy things, but the avocado luckily wasn’t too spicy. My favorite is always garlic. I also tried the Bollywood wrap: curry chicken salad with romaine. Yummy!
I would like to try more. I was told the popular ones are Siam I Am and the Ty Cobb. Till next time!

Great, low key event! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Mad Greens makes eating your veggies fun and delicious! I had the FLW, (seasonal salad). Loved the spicy, prickly pear dressing that was recommended to go with it. We also like the shrimp skewers and smoothies. Will be back again!

Another Unilocaltastic Elite event! MAD Greens is the place to be if you want delicious healthy eats serves to you by super friendly and helpful people. I’m so excited for their newest location (4^th in The Phoenix metro area) as I feel it’s a great fit for Arizona. MAD Greens uses the freshest ingredients and builds your salad or panini the way you want it. I had the Doc Holliday salad which was out of the world. Their tofu will keep me coming back for years to come! I live this business and look forward to giving more of it!
The Unilocal event was a ton of fun with veggie shaped stress balls, raffles, and of course, free food!

A fantastic event for a full moon night! Great healthy MAD Greens! Owners Marley and Dan — hence MAD– started this establishment and I’m glad they did. Marley flew in from Colorado to share the story of MAD Greens and the success of his 14 stores in CO and the 8 stores for AZ! Woohoo! Thanks to Gabi and team for creating this event for us Elite Unilocalers! Very much appreciated. And glad to meet Gabi!
We were gifted with a healthy salad and drink and some appetizers to try such as the Bollywood wrap, BLT wrap, Bright Buzz and Mad greens juices, beet hummus, spicy avocado hummus, garlic hummus with pita bread, and tofu squares. Tonight I chose a carb salad: Mark Twain. Comes with grilled citrus chicken, roasted red peppers, feta, red onions, cucumbers, red wine vinegarette all mixed in the penne pasta. Go for medium to large portion of dressing because the pasta soaks up all the flavors.
Schwagg bags were handed out to 5 lucky winners that included MAD Greens spice, salad, Unilocal cup and red sunglasses.
