This was my first time in Arizona and my first time going to a spa. I figures there would be no better way to celebrate my birthday than to treat myself to the complete spa experience! And I’m soo glad I did! EA Red Door did not fall short! I did the milk and honey body scrub and wrap and 60 minute Arden Signature Massage. These services were all done by Jon. Jon was absolutely amazing!!! He was completely processional and friendly. This was my first time going to a spa. He made sure to explain each step of each process, before doing them. He made me feel completely comfortable! His hands were like magic, transforming my skin to the softest it’s ever been! His massage made me melt away! Jon worked away a lot of the tension I’ve had in my back for quite sometime.
After my time with Jon, I was off to see Lucy for my Signature Facial. She was super sweet and very attentive! After asking me a few questions about my skin, she went in to do a thorough evaluation of my skin. She explained what the service consisted of and made some recommendations that would improve the look of my skin. Based on these recommendations, I added the Vitamin C pack and enzymes to my facial. Lucy was incredible! She made me looked like a whole new person after she was done. she was so gentle with her touch, I was so relaxed!
I definitely will be scheduling with both Jon and Lucy on my return trip in November!

I’ve been getting pedicures here for years. The service is impeccable from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you step out. I’ve only ever been to Helen because after my first pedi, I didn’t ever need to go to anyone else! Helen is wonderful but all the gals here are fantastic so you can’t go wrong. Go pamper yourself.

I got my hair done by Maria one time and have kept going to her ever since. I don’t usually stick to one person but I trust her with my hair and she always does a great job. It also isn’t awkward talking to her like some other stylist. She is very fun to talk to and makes my experience pleasurable. I definitely recommend going to Red Door Spa. Ask for Maria! Also, their prices aren’t as high as you’d think. I have very long hair and always get a cut, color, and blow dry for about $ 130.

I walked into the building and was immediately relaxed by the atmosphere and the soft music. I was led back to the relaxation area, with a robe a wrap and a nice cold glass of pure water. In walks Maria with a smile on her face and she les me back to the facial area. I have to tell you it was the best facial I Ever had in my life. She was extremely gifted and I would recommend any and everyone to try it least once. I got the advanced brightening facial and I haven’t had to moisturize my face since. That was three days ago. I am over the moon happy. I’ve already scheduled my next facial for October 12 which is in the middle of spa week. All facials will be markdown, so I suggest if you’d like to try it on a trial run, this would be a great time to go. Again, thank you Maria you are the best!

I love RED DOOR SPA. It is a MUST trip at least 2x a year. But this time I went to a different location to met up with my cousin. We both had the milk and sugar body scrub, plus the 60 mins massage. Love the location (upstairs). Love the look of the place. But the only thing missing was the bigger relaxation area and changing area. Maybe because I am spoiled by the Wigwam location, but I like to lounge around a bit before and after my services. Or course, the services is always top notch!!!

My experience with the Red Door Spa at 2502 East Camelback was a big disappointment!
My daughters had gone together to buy a package including a massage, a pedicure, and a manicure for Mother’s Day.
The massage person was very nice but the massage was superficial. There was no attention to my body’s needs. It was just done without thinking.
The pedicure and manicure by Raisa were the worst I have ever had! In fact, the very next day I went and had both redone in order to fix the problems she created! She was so worried about telling me about extra charges that she didn’t focus on what she was doing!
The two women at the front desk were very nice as was the manager, Michelle, who called me after I filled out an emailed survey showing my unhappiness.
Michelle said that the Red Door teaches «protocols» and in my opinion that is their downfall! They need to trust their employees to offer individual customer service to meet individual needs!
I was offered $ 56 towards my next services (if I go back it will be to a different location) and that was appreciated! However, the package cost in excess of $ 250.

I just had my hair done by Maria Sais de Sicilia and it’s amazing! Above and beyond being a lovely person to talk with, she did an amazing job. This is easily the best my hair has looked in years. She did partial highlight, lowlight, cut and style. I have fine thin hair that is hard to make look anything but limp usually… currently I have it at bombshell status. Additionally the price was very reasonable for this area. And fear of cost has kept me from this salon before. However, it was very appropriate for the service and it cost less than 200 even with a 20% tip. Lovely salon. Fabulous Maria. I will be returning to her soon.

Everyone deserves to indulge sometimes and if you’re looking to do so — try the Red Door Spa. My latest appointment consisted of an eighty minute Desert Hot Stone massage with my fave girl– Lisa.
As you walk in, the staff always give nice welcomes and is eager to show you around even if it’s not your first time. The women’s changing area is very clean and stocked with everything a person needs to refresh (e.g., mouthwash, hairspray, perfume). The lockers are easy to use which is a plus.
I truly enjoy my spa experiences each time I come here. Lisa is a great massage therapist — she is attentive to what you want out of the appointment (relaxation vs. super tense areas) and is always checking in during the massage.
I do think some things could be better and will outline them here.
— the locker area is small and with another person there simultaneously = very tight quarters
— there is only one women’s restroom
— there is not a lounging area for after your spa experience and having one would be nice
— they offer a subpar biscotti as a snack with water
— the lounging area available as you wait to get called back for your massage is not very inviting — perhaps a bigger space with more relaxed seating options
— the prices are steep — expect to throw down when you come
Overall, I enjoy coming to the Red Door Spa once in a while and I always call ahead to make an appointment with Lisa. Cheers till next time!

I have been to the Red Door several times but my most recent visit was the most memorable.
Tracy was my aesthetician and she was so nice. I booked the signature facial. She really answered my unique skin care needs and was just the right amount of small talk like with a girlfriend (we were sharing our mutual love/​hate for finding great things at last chance) and super relaxing.
I loved the pumpkin enzyme she started out with, it smelled amazing. My hands were massaged with lotion and then wrapped and snuggled into little heated mitts. So comforting. The pressure point reflexology towards the end of the facial put me to sleep.
She has been in the industry for many years. I appreciated her kindness as we all know, some aestheticians at other spas can make you feel embarrassed about blackheads or tend to be a bit judgmental! But she was super sweet and knowledgable. I hope to go back and see Tracy soon.
I also booked an 80 minute signature massage with Sarah and she really knew what she was doing. One of my best massages in a long time. I normally go for deep tissue, but wanted to go a more relaxing route the day of my services. She was amazing! I had no idea how tight my muscles were and she worked some maaaaajor knots out of me. I definitely plan on booking another massage with her again, and soon!

Love this place! My facial was superb and pedicure was great (although I can’t say it was extraordinarily better than the $ 25 pedicure I normally get). I just wish spas (not just Elizabeth Arden) wouldn’t push their product so much at the end of the treatment. It takes away from the overall comfort and relaxation of the day.

80 mins deep tissue massage costs 205 dollars plus tip. However the massage therapist did not perform a deep tissue massage at all. I am always bad at face to face confrontation so I was not able to tell them this was probably one of the worst deep tissue massages I ever received.

Visiting the Red Door Spa is an experience every time I go. The ambiance is amazing and serene. I love the location at the Biltmore, conveniently located by great stores and restaurants. I have had the opportunity to venture to many of the high end resorts/​spa and in the Phoenix area, and I have to say Red Door Spa is certainly up there.
Highly recommend getting a facial with RENEE, she is outstanding at what she does! She is so gentle, yet firm, and I always leave there with rejuvenated, brighter skin. All of the products she has recommended are now my staples in my skin care routine. She is also an expert on eyebrow waxing; unfortunately, my eyebrows have been ruined in the past and Renee has been able to get them back looking pristine. She always takes her time and is extremely detail-​oriented. I highly recommend the Red Door Spa! If you do decide to indulge in this amazing experience yourself, Renee is a true gem and she will not disappoint with the amazing work that she does!

I treated my mom to a very enjoyable facial at Red Door Spa today… it was for her birthday, but of course I treated myself to a facial as well!
I chose Red Door Spa because I remembered hearing good things about it from a friend, and also because of their convenient Biltmore Shopping Park location. We were able to have lunch and do a little shopping together prior to our facials, so that worked out really well.
We both enjoyed our «EA Essential Facials.» My esthetician was Christine and my mom’s was Alina. They both seemed knowledgeable and professional and had a fair amount of experience. As with most facials, they also recommended some products for us, and we did end up making a few purchases as well.
It’s worth noting that I made our appointments last week and we did not get confirmation phone calls. We also were not told exactly where they were located and hence wandered up via a back entrance, which was very shady. If you’re reading this, note that you’ll want to enter via the Royal Coffee — next door to The Capital Grill, and then head upstairs via the stairs or elevator from there. I shared this feedback with one of the staff members working at the front desk, but she didn’t seem to be interested.
So, while the facials themselves were fine, the overall experience was dampened a bit due to the fact that the ladies working up front were not the friendliest or interested in my feedback. It’s also just as pricey as the local resort spas but the facility does not compare. If you’re looking for a full spa experience, I’d head elsewhere, but if you are just about a service or two and the Biltmore is convenient for you, this may be your spot… pamper it up!

My little piggies and fingers were in for a treat! And so was the rest of my body — no, I didn’t get a massage, but this place… the ambiance was upscale, relaxing and trendy (fruit-​infused water, anyone? Iced tea? Hot tea? Keurig coffee?). My expectations were high the moment I stepped in the salon.
1.5hrs later, it turned out to be only an okay experience.
The salon is very time-​oriented, as opposed to task-​oriented, i.e., they’ll do the best that they can to prettify your nails within your appointment time, which in my case was 1.5hrs (45min each for mani/​pedi). This could work for people who are on a tight schedule, but I’m not sure if I really like that…
Also this is a $$$ salon. Little piggies and fingers did come out nice and pretty, but I couldn’t really tell it apart from my $ task-​oriented Asian nail salon — which might not have all the fufu, but at least I get to keep the extra $$ for the same quality! Or buy my own refreshments?
I probably won’t be coming back here unless I get bribed, but I will definitely recommend this place to friend$$$.

I personally have had good experiences at Red Door both of the times that I’ve gone there. However, it is way too pricey. If your wallet can stand it, then it’s perfect. If not, it becomes a place that you go to if you want to spoil yourself once in a while.
But I no longer care for them since a former roommate of mine had an «unwelcoming» visit with them. A couple of us put money together to give her a nice spa day as a birthday gift but instead she came back with a broken spirit and a badly done mani-​pedi. She said she felt unwelcome by the way the specialist treated her. It was a vibe that could not easily be shaken nor dismissed.
I complained to management immediately and vehemently when I found out and she was quick to recompense us for the bad service. But regardless of the offer she made, this former roommate would rather pass it up than to go back.
I believe that if you are offering beauty services, you should accept beauties of all kinds. You can’t be intolerant.

Came here for AZ Spa Week and it was a great experience! I got a $ 50 Stress Melting Treatment (Normally $ 230!!)
John was my treatment specialist and was super personable and sweet. The changing room is a bit small/​/​tight if there are multiple gals changing at the same time. But otherwise, the whole spa is CLEAN!
I would go here more often if I could afford it!
