Five Star Nails & Spas

We made «appointments» and got in about 10 – 15 minutes after our appt time. That was my only complaint! The staff was friendly, the décor is cool (fun giant fish tank to watch), and the place /​tools seem cleanly. The older gentleman that did my nails was terrific — very meticulous. My sister’s and my nails both look fantastic and their prices are great. $ 28 for gel manicure, including the removal of our old gel polish. I would recommend and return again!

I was instantly greeted when I walked in and there was a good amount of business around 130 pm. The menu is easy to read and very affordable. I was surprised how spacious the salon was. The nail tech was very responsive and listened to what I wanted from her and she was very kind and followed the rule– if I talk to her then she talks to me unless it was about my nails which is great because I go to the nail salon to relax and not make a new friend lol!
My polish job was pretty amazing! I liked that they use a pumice stone instead of the cheese grater tool and they also had liners for where your feet go!!! I rated this establishment 4 stars because it was not very well ventilated.

I got my first Gel Manicure here and I can’t wait to go back! After 2 weeks the polish still looks perfect! :-)

I love this place! Kenny and his staff are amazing. I rarely have to wait. There is always plenty of staff. My gel manicure is done quick but the nail techs are all very precise. Great pedicures. Prices are very reasonable. I have several nail salons near me but drive down to Five Star for better service.

I love this place! Everyone is so nice and welcoming, especially the owner. The pedicures are amazing, the girls take their time and the massages are nothing less than amazing. If you are looking for a new salon, try here and you will no be disappointed.

First time here and my gel manicure is amazing. The staff is friendly and funny. I have been to many different places in the area and this will be my go to from now on.

I love this place. Best/​cleanest spot to relax and get a mani/​pedi. They are very nice and professional also. I’ve looked at groupons for other places but choose to come here because of the service.

So glad I gave this little place a try, friendly staff, clean, good prices and most of all excellent nail results ! My nail tech was Tammy and she did exactly what I asked for. I have acrylic with gel and I asked to Make them as thin as she could and she did (most places I still leave with thick «pillow» nails). My nails look fantastic and thin, I left more than happy and will be coming back in a couple weeks.

Ok my 2^nd time back and I was doubly impressed. There isn’t a sheet to write down your name, the gentleman up front asks what you need etc etc.
He actually remembered my name. I didn’t even give it to him. 2 weeks later and he actually remembered who I was. I’m used to being a number at other places so I was genuinely impressed. 5 stars again.

Great salon! We were in town on vacation and my boyfriend and I wanted pedicures, and they were the only place we could find that was open on Easter Sunday. So happy we found this place! We’d definitely come back again if we lived locally!

I have been getting my nails done here since I moved to the area recently. This nail salon has the best customer service compared to ANY other nail salon I’ve been to. My gel manicures also last MUCH longer than when I go anywhere else. They really take their time to do a great job!

Recently moved here from NYC. Tried several different nail salons and paid at least $ 90 including tip each time at the other places left with horrible mani, pedi & gel color (uneven nails, rough skin on my feet from over –scraping, bleeding cuticles, paint chipping & bumpy etc)…I was at the point of such disgust I decided to try and do my own nails at home or open a nail salon myself! Lol
I then decided to give this place a try at my boyfriend’s encouragement since it was near his house and he read the great reviews…
This place is fantastic! My gel color was placed perfectly and lasted. My nails were even and exactly the shape I asked for. Pedicure was excellent!!! The atmosphere is pleasant with great classic rock that is not too loud or dim. Friendly non over bearing staff. They also offer coffee so that’s awesome when starting your day or needing a pick me up in the afternoon.
I only went twice so far and I think I had a woman named Nina? and an older gentleman both were fives stars! Very nice and knew what they were doing :)))
This is definitely my place for sure! The only tiny thing I would change or revamp is the gel colors… if they would add some new colors that would be fab xoxo

Still love this place! Sometimes I have randomly gone to another nail spa and always regret not coming back to this one! They are always nice, clean and do a great, lasting job!

Excellent service. Very particular and professional. It was my first time and Tommy did an excellent job.

Got my nails done for the first time in years. The girl who did my nails was so sweet and she did a fantastic job. I’ll be coming back here for sure!

Pulling acrylic tips off is unacceptable.
I highly recommend you to NOT get your nails done at this establishment.

I gave 5 because it I got what I want.
I been here twice I am a perfectionist and very detailed person. So when it comes with my nails I expect «perfection» since I am paying for it.
Service was awesome from «reception» to the nail technician.
She dis what I wanted and my nails are not just «beautifully colored and designed» it was clean too.
Shes very polite and funny.
If you are looking for a good «nail spa» then this is where you should go.
NOTE: Make sure to make appointment. If you do not then you will wait for long time.

Update: After a few visits, I got to experience most of the nail technicians and by my last experience I unfortunately won’t be returning. I did not get what I wanted, the left hand nails was far off the right hand nails, very noticeable! Ones where pointy, while other ones were more of an oval shape, they had uneven bumps on top, and to make it worse, underneath the nails their was leftover acrylic, she didn’t drill it out. She was super nice and gentle but not what I was expecting at all.
Best nail techinican the young male or older male in the shop. The older male tends to ask you to pay half way through the job, makes it feel a bit rushed but he gets the job done.

Even product on every nail. Well shaped. No drill burning. Very clean. I am a nail veteran and I can honestly say best set I have ever had. I highly recommend 5 Star!

Decent prices. Came on a Friday afternoon and didn’t have to wait when I arrived.
Received the deluxe pedicure $ 33. Standard Pedicure, callous removal, vitamin/​sugar scrub and foot/​calf massage.
Comfy chairs and complimentary water from the staff. Good music (nsync pandora radio I think?!). Free wifi.
Very spacious place and not very busy but the reviews brought me here. They have only been here about 9 months. I will be back!
