History
Established in 2006.
Fuego Bistro was created from the DNA of Café Del Sol in October of 2006. Our executive chef is Cynthia Garcia. She commands the kitchen with a strong Latin fusion presence with classic french cooking techniques and global influences from Puerto Rico, South America, The United States Southwest. Southern Mexico, and even Asia. Our building, Fountain Court Plaza was created in 1959, and has that unmistakable North Central Phoenix Charm, with a courtyard that can transcend you back to a simpler time in Phoenix. Our seasoned staff in the front of the house all have 20 years of experience or more in the restaurant industry making Fuego Bistro’s service truly some of the best in the Valley.
Meet the Business Owner
Jeff W.
Business Owner
I have worked in the Valley and Las Vegas since 1989. I cut my teeth as a fry cook at Burger KIng, and then dish washing at Italian Gardens at Tatum and Thunderbird. I moved on in college to Black Barts Steak House where I was a singing busboy then waiter. Moved Back to Phoenix in 2005, became a trainer for Paragon Restaurant corp. Moves to Vegas and worked for Carvers, The Mirage, Smith and Wollensky, and Delmonicos in the Venetian Hotel. I then moved back to the Valley and took a position at Mastros as a Dinner Captain from 1999 to 2004. I left Mastros to go on my own to trade options and futures from home. Got bored, and started Fuego in 2006, and the rest is history.
