Disappointed! I consulted this law firm on a medical negligence claim ⁵⁄₂₀₁₄. We chose them because they seemed professional instead of calling one of the lawfirms that advertises daily on TV. We met with them at there office, they appeared interested, professional and concerned about our family member. We proceded with everything they requested. This law firm, Shawn Cunningham was on our case, waited until there were 3 weeks left in our statute of limitations, which is 2 years, to tell us they would not be filing a claim. This decision prevents us from filing with another lawyer because there is not enough time for another firm to research and file in 3 weeks. They are well aware of this. The reason, unfortunately, was one that should have been made a year ago. We are now left unable to pursue what seems to be a cut and dry case, all because they ‘cited’ an expert (unamed to us) way to late. My Brother called and spoke to Shawn Cunningham to find out why they chose to use 23 of the 24 months we had to file, Shawn ended the phone conversation with the F word and hung up on my Brother. How professional is that? Our Family member was altered, unable to communicate or recogonize anyone, after back surgery at Oasis hospital. Dr’s let her lay altered for 2.5 days before doing a ct head scan to r/​o a bleed, blaming medication. Even after I requested they do a neuro consult. On Friday morning after a Tuesday surgery they finally decided to scan her head. She had a bleed! A 3 day hospital stay turned into 8 weeks. I work in a hospital and anyone reported or acting altered gets a CT of their head STAT! We now have negligence by Drs and negligence by HPC. So disappointed!
