J & B Furniture Consignments

Don’t use this place to sell! They took in some items but didn’t record them. Said they would but that has yet to happen and it’s been almost 6 months. Unfortunately, that’s not the worst of it. I also brought in a down sectional, when I finally got my check months after it sold, there was an almost $ 300 deduction for cleaning my sectional. I called and they claimed there were pet markings from my dog and they had to have it professionally cleaned. They never called to see if I was ok with that, took their full share and paid for cleaning PLUS extended warranty from my half. What’s even more frustrating is that had they called me, I had scotch guard warranty already and if SG could not have gotten the stains out, I would have gotten either a new sectional or full reimbursement for $ 3500 sectional. Instead, all I got was a couple hundred dollars. Terrible experience, don’t use them!

Bought shelves but am interested in more pieces. Will you deliver? My husband is Ill and I have 2 knee replacements etc so neither can lift
How would I get them home?

I had used the J&J consignment store in the past and sold over 5k worth of furniture in about 2 weeks and a check in the mail within a few days. Now that J&B took over I took an item in for only $ 300 and it sold immediately back in June. I called they said they would pay at the end of July. Now we are at the end of August and still no payment. New management is good about selling, but not so good about paying up when the money comes. Now you know what you can expect prior to dropping off you furniture for consignment at J&B. Very sad.

This store has a wide variety of gently used quality furniture. (Couches, book shelves, artwork, patio furniture, light fixtures, tables…) They have friendly service and they have flexible delivery times and will allow for price negotiations. I do wish I could of had better access to some of the items on the floor and to the outside to view patio furniture area. A little cramped. But I got around just fine. I would recommend this store and I would go back if I was in need of furniture again. I bought a gently used patio set from here this past week and we are very happy with the purchase.
