Business Owner

My name is Jason the Pool Guy. I offer a variety of swimming pool services and repairs primarily in Gilbert, Chandler and Mesa. I’m the owner of the business, the one who does the work and the person you will be dealing with.

I have been trained by the National Swimming Pool Foundation to balance water chemistry and keep accurate records of each pool I service. Potential problems and required maintenance are communicated promptly, minimizing more costly repairs down the road. Give me a chance to show you why I’m so popular with my customers.

I am not as impressed as the others with Jason the Pool Guy. I was looking for a one time clean up due to storms in the area and lack of time to properly service it. He never really pin pointed a time to come gave a generalization. He came at a time that I was not home. Although he DID do what I was asking in cleaning the pool up, I did not receive a quote ahead of time, which I would have preferred. Because I was not home at the time he went ahead and did the job… MOSTLY. Upon removing our filters and taking care of those he did notice a cracked part, again since I was not home and unable to be reached, he did not/could not replace the part. I came home to my filters still out etc. I did call him the next day before 8 AM and he was going to replace the part and finish up. Although not that day but between 8 – 10 the following day. That day came and went and by the 4^th day at 11 when I had not heard from him I called to tell him thanks but no thanks. We would finish the job ourselves. Being that we were not here he could have assessed the pool and left a message as to what needed to be done with the cost, and we could have gone from there.

I can’t say enough great things about Jason. He has been working with us for the last two years and he has been instrumental in keeping our pool sparkling clean. He is timely, patient, and diligent in all the work he does. Most importantly, in addition to just being someone who will «cleans» your pool, Jason is an extremely skilled pool technician/service man.
This became evident in the last year when he replaced our pool pump and filter. When I notified Jason that our previous pump broke, he was at my house within a few hours to assess the problem and discuss options. Jason gave me a wide range of solutions, worked within my budget, and his repair work done right the first time.
I didn’t have to call multiple people to get quotes, I called one person: Jason. It is very comforting knowing that the exact person who quoted you the repair, did the repair, and is present at your house weekly to clean your pool and make sure all systems are operating properly. You will not be sorry having Jason as your pool guy.

First time home/pool buyer in the PHX area and needed to he get a pool person out to inspect pool equipment and pumps before closing. It was a Friday and called multiple vendors but they all said it would have to wait till Monday. We were given Jason’s info from another vendor and gave him a call. He came out on Sat his «off» day and did a great inspection of the pool/equip and pumps. Was very knowledgable and willing to answer any questions we had regarding pull maintenance and working the pump equipment. He charges $ 80 per hour but most work can be completed in that time frame. Our pump equipment is dated but never felt pressured to upgrade or replace entire system. Jason was willing to work with what we have and get it running as best as he could. He is knowledgable, affable, and upfront about recommendations/repair costs.

Last year we purchase a house with pooI, looking for someone that help us with the maintenance of the pool and after searching on Unilocal and see the truck close to my house, so we decide to give him a try.
My husband is an engineers and constantly he was looking after the work to learn about the pool and the work he was doing
He start good first 2 days then he constantly change the date of the services and then start asking to replace some parts every time was about $ 100-$ 200 more to replace some part.
After some replacement the part was still broken he said that maybe was like that and he replace it again. Look suspicious too us
Then he ask for another replacement and we decide to take a look before he change it, after a week he came for change the part and charge $ 150. We decide to take a look after that and the part was never replace was the same we had before!
So be careful check your parts before and after!

Jason takes pride in what he does and it shows. He’s responsible and knows his trade. If there’s a problem with the pool he looks at every possibility and is not in it just to take your money but to help you.
I really like the fact that he’s the owner and does the jobs as well. I have bad experiences with other companies where I call and speak with whomever, not the actual person (or persons) that maintained the pool.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for someone that knows what he’s doing, is responsible, reliable and fairly priced, Jason is the guy.

I had Jason help me with my pool filter in Mesa AZ. He was so knowledgable that I want to introduce him to all my friends. I now live in CA. My husband phoned Jason about our problem. He answered our question in detail and with patience. We never met him but we all like his knowledge and definitely will ask for his help in the future. Jason is the third pool technician I’ve had in the past three years, in an effort to address our system and Baracuda cleaner which has never performed at optimum levels. Jason did a thorough diagnostics of our pool, system, and cleaner and provided us with a solution that was permanent and cost effective. Other pool companies have previously tried to sell me the need to replace higher ticket items such as motor, filter, sweeper, etc., however, Jason gave our system a clean bill of health and focused on the real source of the problem which lied in minor replacement parts for our sweeper and an additional skimmer option to maximize the cleanliness and performance of our system. Our pool has not looked this clean nor performed this well in the past three years, and we have Jason to thank for it.
I highly recommend Jason if you are looking for an honest, fair and detail oriented professional. I know he’s our «pool guy» for any other issues that might arise with our pool.
