History

Established in 2010.

Lap of Luxury Pet Sitting is owned and operated by Terry Markwart. She is a Certified Kennel Operator (CKO) and an Advanced Pet Care Technician (APCT) certified through the Pet Care Services Association (PCSA). Terry is also Certified in Pet CPR.

Terry has worked in the Pet Care Services Industry for the past 19 years as the General Manager for an upscale, two location Pet Resort in North Scottsdale.

She has started her own business to extend her love, passion, and knowledge that she has for serving pets and their people.

Lap Of Luxury Pet Sitting is a member of Arizona Professional Pet Sitters & Associates (APPSA), National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), and Pet Sitters International (PSI). Lap Of Luxury Pet Sitting is also Bonded and Insured.

Rest assured that when your furry family members are in her care, they will receive the love, compassion, and care that you would give in the luxury and comfort of your own home.

Business Owner

Terry has always had a love and passion for animals, starting at a very young age. She always had dreams of becoming a veterinarian, however, in 1991 she stumbled into the pet boarding industry.

Terry decided this is where she wanted to be… serving pets and their people when they could not be together. She helped grow a small pet resort into a 2 location company, and worked her way up to General Manager.

Terry worked hard for the same company for 19 years. She has now started Lap Of Luxury Pet Sitting to continue her journey and her love of serving animals and their people, only now it will be serving them in the comfort of their own home.
