Today 2÷4÷16 I was contacted by a private law firm to remove my prior post but I still want to say my story about this law firm.
Will see how long I can leave this post here without being threatened by another law firm to remove my posts.
My case was bounced from one attorney to another just like other reviews here and I filed the necessary complaints with the State Bar of Arizona about my case and what happened. I felt intimidated to agree to a consent divorce decree, which is now viewed as written very poorly and interpreted in various way by different lawyers.
I felt force to agree to their term or come up with more money to go to Trial to fight more and continue to pay them. I withdrew their services because of all this and to the fact that this law firm had Adam Roberts access my files on a weekend when he was not my assigned lawyer.
There are Rules of Professional Conduct posted on AZ State Bar for Lawyers to follow
Mr. Adam Roberts was not assigned to my case but had access to my personal, private files along with 163 other clients at this law firm. This is the main issue here as he was not assigned to see my case evidences, exhibits, financial/​tax returns, medical information etc. which was not protected by this law firm as I had expected to be.

3÷29÷15 letter was sent out to me regarding confidential information pertaining to my case as well as 163 other cases being improperly downloaded by Attorney Adam Roberts.
In today’s letter rec’d from Snell & Wilmer L.L.P.
” In fact, Cantor Law Group leaned of the misappropriation of documents by Mr. Roberts within the first business day of his resignation from the firm. Cantor Law Group has systems in place that monitor its employees’ access of the firm’s computer systems. These protective measures were effective in that Cantor Law Group identified the issue within one business day of Mr. Robert’s resignation, which allowed Cantor Law Group to take immediate and decisive action against Mr. Roberts, resulting in the complete recovery of any misappropriated information. Once a breach was detected, Cantor Law Group retained our law firm to file an action against Mr. Roberts to recover the misappropriated information.
Within a matter of days, a lawsuit was filed against Mr. Roberts in the Maricopa County
Superior Court (Cantor law Group v. Ádam Roherts, Case No. CV2015−3 753). Almost
immediately, Mr. Roberts agreed to voluntarily return the misappropriated data and to make his personal, home computer available for inspection by a forensic expert in order to determine whether Mr. Roberts had transferred the data from the portable storage device
onto any other computer in his possession or control. The forensic expert determined that the data had not been transferred from the portable storage device onto a computer owned by Mr. Roberts. Mr. Roberts no longer possesses, controls, or even has access to the
portable storage device he used to store the misappropriated information. In
addition to initiating litigation, hiring a forensic expert to determine the scope of Mr. Roberts’
breach, Cantor Law Group reported Mr. Roberts’ breach to the State Bar and filed three separate motions to disqualify Mr. Roberts’ new firm from representing clients who were adverse to the Cantor Law Group. Simply put, Cantor Law Group, at great expense, recovered any misappropriated documents and took all available steps to ensure that Mr. Roberts’ breach was contained.”

Hello, I used David Cantor for my divorce. He was referred to me by a friend that did SEO work for him. Long story short I got the shaft in my divorce. I was handed 4 different lawyers during the process. My now X wife hired a no name lawyer that mowed Cantor and I over.
David after the wheels had fallen off the cart acted all concerned and offered Pro-​Bono work on my case. He did me no favor it all! I still had the crap help and the same output. I hired a shark not a minnow! After the divorce was done I posted a poor rating on Yahoo. I heard from him within a few weeks. Well I heard from a different lawyer again and they set up a meeting. Understand I had now spent north of $ 10K and this now to happen meeting was the first time I was to meet David. David is smooth, great, incredible if he was on my side I would rocked the outcome. He promised me he would represent me for free (pro-​Bono) on all follow on activity concerning my divorce /​child’s health /​child support and so on. The second I called him 6 months later he acted like he knew nothing about me and the promises. GET ALL COMMUNICATION WITH CANTOR LAW IN WRITING!!! Run away if it is not too late!

Promised me everything, so I paid them 10 grand. They were no help and did nothing. Every time I showed up to court there was a different lawyer representative from their firm that flip through my file as they walked through the door. No preparation and no concern for your well-​being. If I had accepted the plea bargain that DMC offered me, my life would have been ruined still today. So, I fired them, lost 10 grand, hired a public defender and did so much better. I have a misdemeanor now instead of a felony all thanks to the free public defender. Law Offices of David Michael Cantor would have ruined my life and laughed all the way to the bank.
This firm is only good at lying to your face and taking your money. You are better off with a public defender. Do not trust them. Beware.

I had recent experience using the services from Law Offices of David Michael Cantor. The attorney that handled the case was Elizabeth Mullins. She was excellent at representing our son and defending his case.
Our biggest mistake was not engaging Elizabeth earlier to get guidance from the start. Elizabeth was able to turn an almost certain 5 years or more sentence to just some months. The procedures and process that Law Offices of David Michael Cantor were very helpful in reducing the sentence.
Yes, there was a financial cost to using Law Offices of David Michael Cantor. However, Elizabeth’s excellent work saved YEARS from the outcome. How do you value 5 or 10 years of a loved one’s life?

Horrible I paid $ 5000.00 I got a urinating in public charge. They set me up with a attorney. She didn’t show up to court once. A different court date she canceled the court date and didn’t notify me so I showed up stressed out and wasted my day I called off work for. I call to speak with David Michael Cantor I felt my attorney was not representing me or doing her job I was told by the managing attorney David J. Maletta I was not allowed to speak with David Michael Cantor he only deals with the big cases I would need to spend 10’s of thousands of dollars for him to hear me out. Then my attorney quit mid-​case I felt horrible. They assigned Elizabeth Mullins to my case so here I am sitting in her corner office hoping and praying she goes to court I lose $ 5000.00. I get the same exact charge I would have without a attorney. I think if you put your name on your business paying clients should have the ability to speak with you. Go somewhere else.

First phone call, didn’t even make it to consultation. I didn’t speak with David but one of his employees and he was so rude! Just kept telling me he charges $ 5000 and I couldn’t do any of the process on my own. «it would be like doing your own surgery» I just wanted to ask one simple question but couldn’t get any words out because he kept interrupting me, degrading me, and making me feel stupid. I am sure there are nice people here but with even one man as rude as this guy whose not been fired it’s not even worth it to spend your money to support this law firm.

These guys are awful. Spent 12k… fired them. Public defender did way better.

Sent in an request for free consultation and the consultation started with ‘We can help you but the fees is $ 5000′. I mean not explaining how you can help but expecting that amount of money for it.

I called for a free consultation about having judgement set aside. The lawyer I spoke with was very rude. They want me to give them 2800.00 dollars and cannot tell me what service they provide that I cannot do myself. The lawyer told be to try myself and then when I fail come back see him. Awful customer service. I will give my money to another firm.

Let me start by noting that in 25 years of business I have never had an attorney experience that I valued. I have always walked away feeling overbilled and under serviced until my recent involvement with David Cantor and his staff attorney Cindy Castillo. I contacted them regarding a DUI and they LISTENED to my concerns and answered all of my questions in a professional and timely manner. I really felt that they truely cared about the circumstances regarding my case and worked together to procure the best possible outcome. They consulted me on the facts and options that were available which allowed me to make an educated decision on how to best proceed with my case which resulted in the best possible outcome. Everything about this firm is first class from their office to their staff and the reputation and respect they command from city, county and state prosecutors. If you are facing a DUI or worse I would highly recommend that you entrust your freedom to David Cantor and his firm.

IMO, these people are more interested in your money and not your verdict. From the get go, they were wanting money and never let up. God forbid you try to have a conversation with the attorney, it is very difficult. The administrative side on a scale of 1 – 10 is a ZERO (0)!
