We are a family owned and operated Dry Cleaner serving Ahwatukee and Mesa since 1999. We have been voted #1 Dry Cleaner in Ahwatukee for several years. We offer Same Day and next day service for both drycleaning and laundry. Our Same Day service is available until 11AM Monday ~ Saturday. We offer a 24 hour drop off service where you can drop off your garments after hours or on Sunday. Come and pick up your FREE Red Express Bag and never wait in line again! Ask about our hanger recycling program so we can keep your used hangers out of our landfills.

History

Established in 1999.

Established in 1999 Matthew and Kimberly Bizzack moved to the Phoenix area in 1999 and opened up Legend Cleaners. They had family support from Grady Shelton (uncle) and Carl Shelton (father). Drycleaning has been a foundation of our family for over 3 generations. Recently Legend Cleaners has incorporated a state of the art POS system to track customer garments and operations more effectively. Legend Cleaners is the first Drycleaners in Arizona to introduce a fully automated assembly and bagging infastructure to ensure order accuracy. Legend Cleaners is bringing todays technology into the Drycleaning industry.

Like the Keystone Cops of Dry Cleaners. Cannot follow directions. Just got home and a belt loop was ripped off the back of a pair of dress pant. Careless, shoddy work. I am sure there are better choices. When I confronted the manager on why simple directions were not followed I got a dumb look and weak smile which basically said to me, «Move along.» No offer to actually fix it.

I can’t believe how reasonable the prices are here. And I love the same day service and drop off window. Plus the staff is friendly and funny! I joked that I was anxious about leaving my dry cleaning bag and the clerk quipped, «Oh I know. We have a support group on Wednesdays.» I’m still chuckling!

I am blown away by the quality, pricing, and customer service this dry cleaners offers. They have low prices off the bat but have coupons that make your dry cleaning free at times or very close to free. The dry cleaning is always finished promptly and done beautifully. I will be a customer for life. Thank you!

I just had my wedding dress cleaned here, and they did a great job! I had a hard time choosing where to get it cleaned, because I didn’t want to leave my expensive dress with just anyone, but I also didn’t really want to pay the $ 200 everyone else had quoted me. I’m so glad I took it to Legend Cleaners! They took wonderful care of it and were able to get the dirt stains out of the train of my gown. They charge a flat rate of $ 100 for wedding dress cleanings and even honored a $ 10 off coupon I had, but forgot to bring. Good quality cleaners and very reasonable price!

I just want a cleaners that advertises same day service to deliver same day service. I checked the website before I went to drop it off over the weekend because I needed to be sure I would have things back today for an important trip. I will acknowledge the owner’s statement that there is a disclaimer on the drop box (and inside the store) but since I had checked the website and was dropping them off the day before in the dark, I was not actively looking for disclaimers on the drop box or elsewhere – that is why I checked the website before I selected them.

I feel that I owe this business a «new review». After a 20 month personal boycott, I felt compelled to give them another opportunity to earn my business. And what a surprise. The Legend Cleaners of early 2013 is SO MUCH BETTER in late 2014.
I am a professional business traveler, and spend a substantial amount of money on my dry cleaning. I was woo’d in by a competitor with the name of a laundry detergent.
After using Legend cleaners on a very large order, (a car load), I examined every garment with heavy scrutiny. Results? Flawless. And the dry cleaning portion of my load was much larger than the laundry. Every pair of slacks, jackets, suits and sweaters were cleaned with the same care I would expect from a much more expensive service. I trusted them with thousands of dollars worth of clothes. They didn’t let me down.
For that, they have «earned» 5 stars.

After shopping numerous cleaners in the area, I finally came to Legend Cleaners and have stuck with them ever since! The staff is very friendly and provides great service, and my clothes have always come back to me looking awesome. They are also very affordable and offer same day pickup if you ask.

Don’t bring your clothes here unless you’re ok with having it end up missing. Legend Cleaners has lost several items of mine thus far and I’ve decided after the third time of getting screwed over, to find a new cleaners. Yes, they’re affordable, but that’s it. It is a poorly managed cleaners and have no business dry cleaning people’s nice garments, seeing as they turn up missing. Recently, I brought a designer cardigan of mine to have dry cleaned and they misplaced the belt that was attached to it. This has happened before, the other time was with pearl buttons that were attached to my blouse-​which they also lost. Another time, they slipped in another person’s garment in with my dry cleaning and had to return it, as it was not mine? The organization at this place is obviously lacking and this will be the last time I bring my items here.

Very affordable and friendly cleaners. After having done dry cleaning in Scottsdale for years at $ 5/​item or even more, I was kind of stunned about how cheap this place is. You can even sign up for a club if you do a lot of dry cleaning/​laundry and save even more.
As has been mentioned in other reviews, the staff here is very nice – to the point of being out of character for cleaners. They will take time to inspect each item you bring in to ensure you are asking for the right kind of service for each fabric type. When you pick the items up, they will also inspect them in front of you to make sure you are happy with how everything turned out.

I have been coming here since I moved to «Tukee in 2004. One of the few places I have ever reivewed that didn’t involve me EATING my way to a Star!
They have never lost an item. Never. Once when the string in the shirt slipped inside they took it back and retrieved it (oooooh, aaaaaah)
They patiently explain which items are Dry Clean and which ones would do better in Laundry. Over and Over. and Over.
Friendly Service Night & Day Shifts. Show respect for their Sraff by closing on appropoirate Holidays.

I will say, without reservation, that this is the most friendly staff I have ever encountered in a dry cleaning establishment. Everyone has always greeted me with a smile. Price is very fair and I have yet to have an issue even though I have been going for about five years.

Recently had a dreadful situation that I would really not like to think about but will go through the agony of it just for you. Yes, just for you my dear Unilocalers.
Well, my favorite Banana Republic shirt was mistakenly thrown in the washer and then the dryer instead of being sent to the dry cleaners. Aaaaarrggggh. I totally thought it was a complete loss when it came out. It was shrunk like you would not believe. Anyway, I took it to Legend Cleaners hoping they could do something. The lady checked to see what material it was. Turns out it is wool but I swear it feels like cotton. Anyway, she said they would try. When I got the shirt back, it was like it had never been through the washer and dryer. Whew. thank you Legend Cleaners!
