Little Stars Align is an In-​Home daycare. I have converted my home to meet the criteria that Maria Montessori believed were necessary to allow children to reach their full potential. I have many Montessori educational items, and an entire classroom full of motives to keep your child inquisitive and excited to learn all day! Currently I am involved in many Montessori workshops, training classes, and am on the Board of the Arizona Montessori Coalition as Communications Secretary. It is my pleasure and duty to communicate fluently to all of our 93 Montessori schools in Arizona, as well as observing classrooms and Directresses. I take great pleasure and am humbled to be part of the most formative years of these children’s lives. I plan each day carefully according to the children I host. Everything down to the little furniture is geared toward making your child feel comfortable and happy. Please, check out my website to witness the wonderful Little Stars at work!

History

Established in 2013.

Amira Kuehn, Owner and Directress of Little Stars Align In-​Home Daycare, is a very caring and graceful individual who decided working with children 1 on 1 in their most formative years was her goal and passion. She has an innate maternal instinct, not just for her own 3 children, but for each child she encounters. She is currently on the Board of the Arizona Montessori Coalition as Communications Secretary. She utilizes her free weekends by attending workshops pertaining to furthering her education and overseeing the education and well-​being of children. She enjoys spending time with children of all ages and understands their ability not just to learn from their environment and peers, but to teach as well! Overall she is very proud to have the privilege to work so closely with these Little Stars and to learn and teach alike!

Little Stars Align was started by Amira Kuehn. The name came from a song composed by Lindsey Stirling (Violinist). She was listening to the composition while on her lap-​top, trying to figure out how she could correlate her innate entrepreneurial abilities with her passion to teach and discover in the presence of children. She is the 3^rd generation of her family in Montessori. Her grandmother, Miss Rita of Little Friends Montessori, and her aunt Miss Mary, Owner and Directress of Little Friends Montessori, with experience in many other beautiful schools in the valley. The passion to follow in these two incredible teacher’s footsteps and teach the curriculum of the widely respected and internationally educated Miss Maria Montessori drove Amira to conduct her own In-​home Montessori Daycare.

Amira is still diligently studying to continue her education. Making herself present at every workshop, convention, training and program offered that she can attend.
