Medifast Weight Control Center

Hmmm, I think I know HOW Medifast helps you lose weight. They are so DAMNED expensive that you can’t afford to buy food! Also– they are not doctor managed like other weight lost programs around…
Seriously– I need to drop about 70lbs and after hearing their barrage of commercials on KTAR, I decided to try them out. I called them 3 times and each and every time no one answered the phone, so I left a message. The first two times, no one ever called me back. On my 3^rd message, I actually said, «This will be my last message» and VIOLA! I got a call back right away. The call taker hooked me up with this Medifast location because it’s literally 4 blocks from my home.
The staff is very attractive and very, very sweet. I think this is part of the draw, however I am very embarrassed and I was not comfortable sitting my fat-​ass in the weighting room; even though there was others in the same boat as me– that’s besides the point (I would have liked to have been whisked away into a private waiting room but I understand that’s not feasible). But I digress…
Anyway, I got my full screening from Kimberly who is jaw dropping gorgeous! She could be a model (easily!). She was a sweet as they come and extremely knowledgeable. She explained everything to me and did a great job of making me feel comfortable with the situation.
Then, she turned into Cruela Deville when she dropped the bomb of the price! I am sure, if you stick with the plan, it would work– no questions. It was like a 99 week plan (for me– everyone, is different) and that plan would have cost me:
$ 1300 DOWN and monthly payments around $ 300 ($ 85/​week for food and $ 75 every other month-​ish for vitamins)! That’s a freaking car payment! (joking about the Cruela Deville part… she was still rather sweet about it, I’m just poor!).
I think the advertising is a bit misleading because I know I’ve heard «For around $ 150 a month» Well, if that was true, I wouldn’t be complaining.
Unfortunately for me, I had to stop right there because this just isn’t in mu budget… so it looks like the meth/​crackhead diet for me! (Joking… don’t mean to poke fun at the crackheads or meth addicts. I am sure they are great, skinny people!)
The only reason I give them 3 stars is because of the price.

I’m giving a Unilocal shout out to a terrific business I had the pleasure of trying. I’m sure you have heard their ads on the radio if you keep up with daily events. I went here desperate to lose weight and met with Michelle to learn about their program. The program seemed perfect for me, easy to prepare dehydrated drinks, snack bars, soups, cheese puffs etc and one simple lean meal per day. I went all in and felt the price of the program was just an investment into my health.
I had opted in for a special master cleanse program to kick start my program and within a couple days I was fasting on nothing but a simple lemonade without any hunger or discomfort. I loved it so much I was allowed to go a couple more days on it. It would have been perfect however I have always had a problem with routine and remembering to do things so I was constantly forgetting my supplements. Within about a week or two into the actual program I found myself forgetting to get all my meals in during the course of the day and ignoring their recommendation that you exercise no more than 20 minutes a day. The smaller I got the more I wanted to exercise.
I came to Michelle with my situation. I told her that I was thankful for my weight loss in 3 weeks, (24lbs.) but that I craved exercise. I also explained my struggle to follow the program which is important because of the small number of calories you consume each day. Even though I was 3 weeks into my contract she could see the logic in my situation and was very helpful in returning the majority of the fee I paid for a year of their program.
It is so refreshing to find a business that is so confident in their product that they are willing to let you out of your commitment if it is not right for you. I encourage any of my Unilocal friends to give Michelle a call and see what she and her wonderful staff can do for you. The weight loss is simply amazing and for those of you where exercise is not a priority in your life and you can follow a simple routine I promise you will see great results.
