I’m Michael James I’ve been a photographer for 9 years. I specialize in all types of photography from Family portraits, Glamour shots, head shots, and much more. My passion is Lifestyle Photography. My love for photography is my love for seeing life through the lens, and with each shot time stops, and life in all its fullness is captured in that moment of time. The result is a time capsule captured on what we call a photograph sealing time in its place for all to see, and enjoy and share in our memories. Life through the lens is what photography is all about. As a photographer, I believe our stories generate the world as we know it and that all life arises from the stories we tell. Working as a photographer for many years my wife and I decided to branch out on our own and Michael James Photography was born.

For starters my name is Michael James I’ve been doing photography now for about 9 years it all started when I was a young teen with my Old Polaroid camera taking pictures of everything! I immediately fell in love with it. But as most young teens do I placed a backseat to the photography but my passion for it never left. One Christmas morning re-​sparked my love for photography when my mom brought me an 8 megapixel camera and the love for it instantly returned. I knew from that moment that I would never look back I began taking pictures again. I chose Lifestyle photography as my main shooting style simply because I love seeing people be themselves have fun all while creating their story. When I’m not doing photography nothing like coming home to my beautiful wife and my two wonderful kids and I can’t forget my two German Shepherds Jack and Patti.
