History

Established in 2006.

Motley Design Group was formed by Robert and Roberta Graham, formerly of Metropolis Design Group, and has grown to a staff of five. MDG developed and now occupies an office in a rehabilitated garage building on Lower Grand Avenue, in the heart of the Grand Avenue arts district.

Business Owner

Bob Graham is the Principal Architect of Motley Design Group. A Phoenix native, he is the product of West High School and Arizona State University, graduating second in his architectural class in 1985. He is an active booster for urban and historic preservation issues, both living and working downtown for over 25 years. He remains active in the community as a member of the Central City Village Planning Committee and as instigator and leader of the Grand Avenue Rail Project.
