History

Established in 2015.

While New Concept Pool & Spa opened in the Valley of the Sun in FEB 2015, our owner has 20 years experience with commercial facilities in the Pacific Northwest. He has helped over 120 water recreation facilities with water quality, Health Department and energy efficiency measures.

This experience transfers easily to residential service, where bather load and pool size are both much lower than a public water recreation facility. In the PNW most pools are in very high-end residential and we have experience working with High Net-worth Individuals and secure residential facilities.

Meet the Business Owner

Kris W.

Business Owner

Kris began learning about maintaining public pools in 1982 while working at a SCUBA center in Bellingham, WA. He had to not only maintain the pool on a daily basis, but also work with the Dept of Health to manage the pool to Washington States stringent standards.

In the 1990’s he began to work in outside sales selling chemicals to public facilities and helping his customers as their liaison to the DOH. He helped organize an annual ‘Pool School’ attended by operators from the PNW and taught by local and state representatives from the DOH and various chemical, and equipment manufacturers such as; SeaKlear, Pentair, Raypack and the State of Washington.

Kris pretty well lives in the water and when he is not helping his pool customers he will usually be found sailing, SCUBA diving, or fishing.
