Has phone issues but say they are fixing. Doctors are nice.

Is it me? You can’t leave messages, you can only call during business hours (you know, when most people are working and can’t make personal phone calls), I thought I had an appointment tomorrow, but no one has called to confirm, so I have no idea!

I have been on hold now for17 minutes! I have never been on hold for less than 15 minutes. Also, I had a biopsy done and waited 2 weeks, had to call them, on hold for 25 minutes. They said Dr. Ragaini had not signed off on results. Called me that evening with good news. Had a mammogram done, called a week later, said they hadn’t gotten them. Called the radiology, they had sent them 2 days before I called. Called them back, dr. Ragaini again did not sign off, they will call me in 3 days. Waited 2 weeks more, called them today, Dr. Ragaini had not signed off on them still! But, receptionist gave me the results, with a very poor attitude. Asked if they call or mail results. That is when she told me Dr. Had not signed off on them. When I told her that was what I was told last time, she said, «So there you Go!» What? Very rude people. Will be looking for a new place. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

This place is terrible… We gave them our new insurance but yet they still do not have it on record! So they keep billing our OLD insurance which sends the bills back to us! We have told them over 5 times about our new insurance yet we still keep getting bills! Not to mention they never have my girls info straight ugh!

Everyone was nice enoigh, but I was really disappointed in the prenatal care I received here. I was never given that in depth initial prenatal visit, and never felt like I left there informed. It was just going from one appointment to the next, never having an outline of when certain appointments would be, or how often. Testing was never discussed to make sure I made informed decisions, the medical assistant handed me a form before I even saw the doctor and you were just expected to signed it one way or the other without discussing it. It was as if they assumed I just knew how this all worked. I was urged by many friends and relatives to switch practices and found one that is extremely thorough.

The staff was RUDE! Going to the doctors is NO fun to begin with and then dealing with the front desk that don’t show any customer service makes it that much harder. I left feeling as though I had been ripped off and threw 50 bucks out the window. I will never go back to that practice. I left the practice in tears on how I was treated.

I have been a patient of theirs since 2007. I have been seen my several doctors at this practice as well as the PAs. They are all friendly and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable talking with any of them. They have onsite phlebotomists to draw your blood for blood work if needed. They also have onsite ultrasounds. I feel like no matter the issue I’m being seen for, it is a one stop shop to get the tests needed for a diagnosis. I delivered my son in 2008 with them at Chandler Regional Hospital. The entire experience with them was wonderful. They really take care of you and check on you while you are in the hospital. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am so blessed to be a patient of Dr Ragaini, She makes her patients feel so comfortable and welcomed in the most uncomfortable of situations. Everyone in the office goes above any beyond to make each visit easy and seamless, as a whole the team is really good at getting patients back on time and addressing appointments in a timely manor. I love this office!

Doctor Ragaini delivered my son in June 2011 and I have to say, she is the main reason I’m staying with New Horizons –Ahwatukee Location. The office staff appear new, lax, rushed, too busy, sometimes confused and I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I was a patient here for 5 years. I am in early 50s… needless to say, this practice is for women who are having babies! I developed an ovarian cyst that would not go away and experienced pain/​bleeding that was not normal. My mother died of ovarian cancer, so there is a concern. Dr. Ragaini ordered ultrasounds but no treatment was offered. I saw another dr in the practice when I became concerned about the bleeding. He basically told me not to worry.
I decided to get a second opinion… at Mayo Clinic. I was diagnosed with a prolapsed uterus, rectocele & cystocele. I had a tumor on one of my ovaries, also. I had a hysterectomy and ovaries removed and I feel like a new person! I am so glad I left New Horizons… they really blew me off.

I have been seen by Dr. Karen Ragaini over the last several months and she has always been kind, has a good bedside manner and is very gentle in her mannerisms. I like to go to her and feel comfortable with the way that I am treated.
Some of the staff is either new or are over stressed because they can be a little rushed over the phone or sometimes in person. That is the only reason for four stars and not five. But like I said, the actual OB-​Gyn is awesome.
