The Pearce Family Foundation is a public 501 c3 non-​profit charity that exists to provide needed financial assistance, mobilize resources and engage the community to support families with a child facing a chronic or life-​threatening illness. All proceeds raised benefit the Pearce Family Foundation’s main initiative, Angels Around Us of AZ, to help ease the burdens of daily life so these courageous families can focus solely on their child’s journey to get well.

History

Established in 2013.

The Pearce Family has been in the Valley since the 1800’s which is why it was important to create this foundation. Like past Pearces’, Meghan felt it was time to recognize the philanthropic work that has been done in the Valley by expanding on it through the Pearce Family Foundation. Dating back to when the roads were dirt and there was nothing north of Shea Boulevard the Pearce’s have watched the state grow to what it is today. Time may have changed the look of the Phoenix Metropolitan area but what hasn’t is the desire, and need to give back to the community.

Business Owner

Meghan was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and participated in numerous philanthropic events. She was on the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon and volunteered at a daycare once a week to read the children books. Since graduating college, Meghan assisted with numerous charities both for business purposes as well as pleasure. Eventually working at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation for two years as both a special events coordinator assistant and a communications specialist, she helped raise almost $ 3 million dollars in a variety of different events. Meghan has a passion for contributing to the community and feels it is important to help those in need.
