Phoenix A To Z Moving

My husband and I just moved from Norfolk, Virginia to Phoenix using a 26 ft u-​haul and we hired these guys to help with the unload.
Carl and Kyle were amazing! Professional, smart, and efficient. They were done in just a little over an hour. My dad owns and operates a small moving company in Virginia (30 years experience) and he was here because he had driven our U-​Haul. He was impressed with these guys and particularly the team lead, Carl. Would use again!

We hired this company to help us move our belongings from our house into a freight truck in front of our house. The two guys wanted to show up almost 4 hours early, but got upset when we told them the truck hadn’t arrived yet. When they arrived after the specified time and the truck was there, they were just grabbing bags that we had explained were going into our vehicles for the move that had clothes, medications, etc. and putting them into the freight truck. When we found out about it, they refused to move boxes they’d put in front of them to get the bags out. We found out that several of our things were damaged, scratched, and before they left, one of the movers was caught trying to steal one of my glass items when he was caught putting it into his truck. The other mover, Bobby, said that he himself was on parole and wasn’t about to steal anything. However, when we unloaded at our new house, we found over $ 600 worth of tools stolen that had last been loaded onto the truck by those two movers and unloaded by me.
During the last hour we paid them for, they were just hanging around outside and not doing anything to help us move the beds or anything else. They finally decided to leave without moving a queen mattress, a crib, a recliner, coffee tables, etc. I ended up calling Justin, the owner, about everything they hadn’t done before they’d left. Justin told me that the movers complained of having to step all over things (those things being my children), and boxes being in the way, things all over the place, and how disorganized we were. WE WERE MOVING! I explained that there were many things that weren’t even moved and closets that were still full of big things that needed to be loaded. On top of calling me a liar, he claimed that he was a military man and knew how to pack things up quickly. He’s telling this to a retired Army soldier who’s moved 5 times while in the military and 3 times as a civilian, always having a moving company’s help. Justin requested pictures sent to his phone and promised to get back to us. I sent them. When I never heard back, I tried calling him again, I only got voicemail. To this day, I’m still waiting for that phone call.
Justin and his company are a joke and it is just another way to rip off unsuspecting people who need help in a time when their lives are chaotic. Way to go Justin! Your thug employees robbed us and left us to do what we paid you for. Well played.

Moved yesterday and A to Z made what is usually a really stressful experience smooth and easy! Adam and Larry were absolutely great — on time, personable and very professional. I would definitely use them again (though I hope not for a long, long time!!) and would recommend to my friends/​family — high praise for those who know me. Thanks guys!

Joseph & Israel worked exceptionally hard clearing my 3^rd floor apartment, including washer & dryer; without the aid of an elevator. They were polite, intelligent, & worked diligently until the job was completed.

Fantastic experience with Justin (making the arrangements — great communication); Bobby (crew lead — impeccable professionalism); and Jay (faultless move with speed and friendliness). We move often so we know good from bad — I recommend them unreservedly!

These guys were amazing. They unloaded our Pod really fast and put our kids bed and crib together. They were very professional and unloaded everything within the 2 hour estimate. We will definitely be asking for Larry, Ritchie, and Angelo to help us again for our next move!

Alex and Guadencio called to let me know they we on their way. They showed up on time and they had my 15 foot van unloaded in 53 minutes. Spoke to me before hand to see if I had any particular needs. i did and expressed them. Other than that I stayed out of the way and let them do their jobs. They treated my belongings with great respect. I recommend them and A to Z Moving for your moving needs.

Larry and Talis helped us move out today. Great attitude and service! They took good care of our furniture. Incredibly strong guys! Fast and efficient! Highly recommended.

Thanks to Carl and Eric for packing all of my belongings into the U-​Haul so that absolutely nothing arrived damaged on the other end. Professional, on-​time, took the time to evaluate my 2-​bedroom home, very considerate of my furniture, total pride in their job and got it done quickly. Great guys!

A to Z packed my 15′ rental truck in Ahwatukee with a single garage full of stuff and unloaded it in my garage in far north Scottsdale in 3 hours flat. I drove the truck. it would have taken me all day and I’d still be in pain. Larry and Eric were true moving pro’s: great communication, on time, prepared and efficient. Could’t have been better. Ask for them by name for your next move.

That’s right — they were as «good as it gets» in my book! Tommy and Jimmy from A to Z Moving helped me move and I could not believe the incredible service they provided me with. First of all, they were ultra polite and respectful of me and my belongings. They thought they were going to have a short day because I was only moving 4 miles and originally hired them for only 2 hours on a Sunday. I am not a good estimator when it comes to what it takes to move, so I didn’t have everything packed and ready to go. They helped me pack and then move. That is not what they are accustomed to doing, but they did whatever I needed help with and with such pleasant attitudes. I thoroughly enjoyed working with these two young men. They went above and beyond what was expected of them. They worked hard, efficiently and pleasantly. I am so grateful for their help and honestly don’t know what I would have done without them and their willing and kind attitudes. God Bless them. I hope I don’t have to move again for a long time, but if I do, I will call A to Z Moving and hope that Tommy and Jimmy are still there to help me. Thank you so much A to Z for sending out these two guys in particular. They were the better than I could have ever expected.

We’ve used A to Z Movers twice now and let me tell you — they hit customer service out of the ball park. Quick and efficent, they make sure your belonging are well cared for. Justin, Ron, and Bobby were very personable and friendly. And considering I drove the truck everything arrived safely and not one item was broken.

We had a fantastic experience today. Our two movers were professional, clean and so friendly. They immediately introduced themselves, shook our hands, toured the home to get a feel for what to do first and then set straight to work.
I would definitely use this company again just to get these two gentlemen again! Ron and Eric are awesome! Justin was super nice too.

We hired this company after reading the Unilocal reviews. Although they appeared friendly and professional on the phone, they job they did was very poorly managed and executed. There was a lot of damage done to the wood pieces of furniture. The damage was primarily due to not properly wrapping pieces. They moved very slow for an hourly rate — at least to my taste and from my prior experiences with movers. I offered to give them the opportunity to remedy the situation prior to writing any reviews. They offered to repair the damage, but I preferred a refund to hire my own repair person. I don’t trust the workmanship. The owner was very defensive, never apologized, and refused to refund for damages. I would highly encourage not hiring this company. They were also very expensive at the end of the job compared to other quotes.

I don’t know if I’ve ever dealt with a less professional company. The owner actually yelled at me on the phone when I told him of the problems with the move and was incredibly defensive. Their website is also inaccurate: They did not wrap our furniture as their Website states and, as a result, furniture was damaged, as were walls. Beyond this, it took three men and eight hours to do a job two men could have done in about five hours. The owner said he’d send a repairman to fix the furniture and walls – I said that remedy was unacceptable given what I’d seen of the quality of the work and that it would be more fair to charge me for two movers rather than three (a remedial discount of about three hundred dollars in a move that cost over nine hundred). He screamed at me, literally. I would not call this company. I would not have them move you.

Justin and Tanner were perfect gentlemen and professionals from the start. Highly recommended. I would definitely hire them both again.
