History

Established in 1987.

Starting out as a small auto and transmission repair shop in Phoenix, AZ, Phoenix Transmissions grew from that to one of leading Phoenix transmission repair shops.

Over the years, our transmission repair services overwhelmed the auto repair side of our shop and we became more and more focused on transmission repair and less on auto repair until we finally stopped performing auto repair all together.

With all of our focus now on quality transmission repair, rebuilt transmissions and customer service, we rose above our competitors in the transmission repair industry and grew into one of the largest transmission repair shops in Phoenix as well as the surrounding metro areas.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

After graduating High School from Deer Valley High in Glendale, AZ, I started out in the Phoenix transmission repair industry installing transmissions.

After a few years I moved on to car transmission repair where I replaced valve bodies, solenoids, sensors and repaired leaks. Shortly after that I was trained in overhauled and rebuilt automatic transmissions where I specialized in domestic automatic rebuilt transmissions.

When vehicle computers became more common and started causing transmission problems, I moved into transmission diagnostics where I became highly skilled.

I now live in Peoria, Arizona with my wife and two daughters, and commute to central Phoenix daily where I own my own transmission repair shop, Phoenix Transmissions.
