At Poblano we believe that food is Mexico’s «National Treasure» and that dishes like Stuffed Poblano Chiles, La Tampiquena, Mole (created with over 32 ingredients), and Enchiladas Suizas offer a delicious tour of Mexico’s best.
Poblano refers to the Poblano Chile, an ingredient that when charbroiled gives an extraordinary depth of flavor without being too spicy. It can be found in the house salsa, Enchiladas Suizas, Chef’s Favorite Salad, Friday’s Poblano Soup and the Stuffed Chiles.
Contrary to popular belief, Mexican food can be Vegetarian friendly. We offer veggie breakfast options like our A La Mexicana and El Tipico Burritos, as well as our Divorced Eggs, Huevos Rancheros, and Chilaquiles. For lunch or dinner try the Veggie Tacos or Veggie Stuffed Chiles, both filled with sauteed red, yellow, and green peppers, mushrooms, carrots, spinach and poblano peppers.

History
Established in 2010.
Over the years we noticed a need for a Mexican restaurant that truly celebrates the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. We also saw Arizona’s growing taste for authentic Mexican flavors. This inspired us to combine our love for Mexican food with our experience as restaurateurs to bring you a menu we’re most proud of. In it we combine mole, complex sauces, fresh spices and many home-made ingredients.
The menu was also influenced by one of our Chef’s studies in Chihuahua, Mexico at L’Ecole du Chef, a member of the World Association of Chefs Societies. Here his exploration of disciplined and creative ideas was second to none.
Poblano is definitely a fresh concept in Arizona. Poblano offers all its dishes for dine-in or take-out and most dishes in the Poblano Express drive-thru. You can be certain that we never sacrifice when it comes to freshness, original ingredients and proper cooking methods.
