Recently I was in need of a credit repair service as I am recovering from a decade of financial hardship.
I was referred to Praxis from a friend and I have to admit, had I read the Unilocal review prior, I wouldn’t have used them but I am glad I did not read that review because my experience was great.
I am in the process of preparing to buy a home again and knew that I needed help cleaning up my report. I knew I could eventually do everything on my own as I am very resourceful but I simply do not have the time.
They worked with me at times that were convenient for me, explained the process, walked me through and always kept me informed. She was very up front and honest throughout and now a few months later, I can totally appreciate the work they did in cleaning up my report which had been neglected for a decade. I have a common name and there were so many addresses and such that had nothing to do with me along with other more personal issues.
I would not hesitate to recommend Praxis as my friend did for me. I still am in the market for a home but feel confident that I am entering it with the best credit report I can possibly have at this time… As I have stated before… thanks!

Praxis Credit Consulting company gives other small businesses a bad name by being a poorly run, fraudulent disgrace. As an advocate for small businesses, we decided to contact a local small business to assist us with some minor credit repair before purchasing a new home. Contacting Praxis regarding our credit was the most regrettable financial decision we have made in the last five years. We thought that having a local company do the job of credit repair would be a nice change to the credit fixing sharks that are out there. We were sorely mistaken in that this company is unprofessional, unwilling to discuss the situation, they blatantly misrepresent their services and are incompetent. My husband and I have good credit and were looking to get our credit history cleaned up a little before we purchased a new home. Having been referred to Praxis from a Compass Bank Lender, I thought they would be credible option. We could have done the repair ourselves, but decided that it seemed easier to pay someone around $ 800 to do it for us.
At the onset upon having an initial meeting, we made it very clear to Praxis that we are interested in purchasing a new home. The reason for the credit repair was to get the best mortgage interest rate possible. No where along the way did Praxis tell us that banks may not lend to you if your credit report shows a dispute on it. Of course a credit repair company should inform you of this scenario as it is their business. We signed up for their services and when the disputes had been submitted to the credit bureaus, we found out that the bank may not give us a loan if the disputes were not resolved. We almost lost our dream house.
Upon numerous phone calls to the company, the person we initially signed up with would not even call us back. When we got a return phone call, her supervisor denied all of the services that his employee told us they provided. He was rude, got defensive, took no responsibility for the situation they put us in, and hung up the phone countless times during the phone call. We asked how they can help us get the disputes removed, they said there is nothing they can do. We researched the situation and found out that we could get the disputes removed, so we then had to spend countless hours undoing the damage that Praxis had done. In the meantime, we were able to repair the credit ourselves in doing so. Therefore, we paid over $ 800 to Praxis for nothing. This firm in unreliable, unprofessional, and a fraud.
