Shred-it

Our office had boxes, and boxes, and boxes, and more boxes to dispose of, but they contained information that needed to be securely shredded to protect confidentiality. Shred-​it offers a mobile shredding service that eliminates the uncertainty of having sensitive information being transported to an extra place for shredding, since all shredding is done in their mobile unit truck. They normally will come by from 8 – 5, but our office closes early on the day we scheduled our pick-​up. They made every assurance that the truck would come by before we left. When they arrived (halfway through our short work day) all our boxes were disposed of in a short amount of time. The drivers will have large hand-​trucks to cart out the boxes needed to be shredded, and they will load them up for you.
Although front desk receptionist isn’t very friendly on the phone, the other staff, such as Jim the scheduling/​quotes agent and our driver Jermaine were very friendly and courteous. Our price for disposing of the boxes: $ 7.50 per box plus $ 12 fuel fee. Rates may vary depending on the number of boxes you need to dispose of.
