Surplus Asset Management, SAM Auctions, was founded in Phoenix Arizona in 2004 as a premier auction and sales company.

We highly regard our relationships which have been built on the basis of honesty, integrity, and providing successful auctions and appraisals for our clients. Business Owner

John Lines created what has become Surplus Asset Management in 1988 after nearly a decade of working in the supermarket and construction industries. John spent his early years working with his hands, learning from extensive experience the ins and outs of equipment and sales. When he was 26, John began servicing grocery stores and restaurants independently making his way into the realm of business ownership one satisfied client at a time. He is known among his clients and professional partners for his integrity, honesty, and dedication to ensuring that each interaction he has is positive for all parties involved.

As the president and founder of Surplus Asset Management, John works with corporate clients to ensure they come away from their auction experience satisfied and with all of their sales goals met. His 35 years of industry experience are put to good use every day dealing directly with clients throughout the auction process.
