I love this place. So many cool things to look at! Excellent knick-​knacks, chochkies, Bric-​à-​brac, etc. great retro dresses & outfits. Love it! Wonderful staff. Two thumbs up, 5 stars !

This place is terrible. Their hours are totally wrong online, so I ended up wasted an hour driving to the other side of town just to get to their front door and it’s locked with the lights off. I would rather spend my money shopping online and paying out the ass in shipping than waste another thought on this place.

I went today at 5pm for the first time to the address posted on the website. They are no longer open. They were given a notice on the door that the owner of the spot evicted them, so I was a little sad and confused that they didn’t mention anything on the website that they were no longer in business at that location on Indian School and about 31^st street. Also, no one answers the telephone when I called the phone number that’s posted.

First time visiting The Green Gurl today! I was in search of a party dress for a holiday party. I ended up leaving with a dress, 3 pairs of shoes, and unicorn band aids. I love all the styles of retro clothes, shoes, and accessories! I can’t wait to go back!

40’s and 50’s retro and vintage clothes, accessories, and stuffs (knick knacks, décor, etc.)
I am not used to paying much for clothes… and if you see the way I dress and how little I care about fashion, that’s quite obvious. Then I walked into The Green Gurl. I went in looking for a dress to wear to a party. I found a great one — but was nervous about the price tag. I asked them to hold it for me, and I would think on it while running other errands. I decided to go for it — and found another, even better dress on my way back in the store. A fantastic dress. An amazing dress! A dress that accentuates all the good stuff and minimizes all the not good stuff and I feel gorgeous in it! (I never knew a single garment could wield so much power!)
Turns out, I have a body that just begs for pin-​up greatness! Who knew? Well, the staff at The Green Gurl. Who were friendly, and patient, and know their stuff! And it seems ALL women have bodies that beg for pin up greatness! These clothes flatter every body type — short, tall, thin, curvy, and everything between!
I won’t be able to afford to get much here on a regular basis — but even adding one or two new amazing items to my wardrobe each year would be a big step forward in my fashion world. I’m in!

My new fave! I was there yesterday shopping for a specific type of dress to wear to a wedding. I found it! No other place in the city has a selection as good as theirs. New stuff, vintage pieces … housewares, gifts. Amazing staff, fun shop! I love my new dress!

I love this store. The sale rack has great stuff at low prices! The staff is friendly and so helpful. They found items for me that were just right. The items I purchased look great.
It is worth the visit.

I was there last night to find dresses for a vow renewal ceremony for my best friend. My friend and I were not only treated to great customer service but also Champagne because we were shopping for a wedding event! Each person on staff last night was complimentary and extremely helpful in finding the right dress for our shapes and helped with pulling out ideas that we wouldn’t have thought of. Plus sizes are in great supply here which gave my friend and I a lot of options. We’d been searching for a local shop that had these great fashions and we The Green Gurl is it! They also carry an array of accessories, shoes, kitchy fun items for any retro/​vintage theme you are looking for. New and used vintage —- you will not be disappointed! I can’t wait for our event next month when we can wear our new dresses! Thank you so much to the staff at The Green Gurl, you guys ROCK!

This place is great. Lots of great clothing for both men and women is lots of sizes. The staff here are really great at finding something that will look super good on your body type. There are a ton of choices for accessories and shoes, too. Plus, there’s amazing vintage stuff, too. I love that they make a point to stock cool retro knickknacks.

A friend, who knows I adores all things pinup/​rockabilly clothing, told me about this little gem of a boutique. I was not disappointed when I popped in. Delicious fit and flair dresses, wiggle dresses, pants, tops, shoes, swimwear… gah!!! They carry all of their items in an array of sizes from S-​3XL, so size options are glorious. The lovely gal that was working they say I came in was personable and helpful. She even dug through their incoming stock to find the dress and pants in my size. Naturally,
I bought both! Just GO there!!! Prices are great, if you know anything about pinup clothing, dresses that are less than $ 100 are a rare find and The Green Gurl has tons!

Lower your prices… not all the stuff is vintage. Some of the consigned clothes are not retro, rockabilly, etc. I noticed an express shirt that was definitely NOT vintage or retro looking.

Green Gurl has a mix of both vintage and new clothes with lots of retro and rockabilly options. I went looking for a dress and immediately found some dresses when I walked in. Even better– they carry plus sizes. Both of the ladies helping me were extremely nice, and I was even offered a retro soda while I browsed. My intention was to buy a dress, and I ended up with a dress, shoes, and earrings.
There is a small section of men’s clothing as well as accessories and even some fun, kitschy stuff like the ShakespeareMint air freshener that I purchased.
My only complaint? I wish this store was bigger with an even bigger selection, particularly in plus, but it’s probably a good thing that it isn’t.
