History

Established in 2012.

The owner/​artist started as a self taught stained glass hobbyist back in 1989. Continuing education and growth, in 1998 established In a Glass of Is Own… creating custom stained glass windows for home owners. After the entire loss of the company and inventory in 2007, The Heart of Glass emerged in 2012 offering custom stained glass windows, panels and lamps with an addition in fused glass art and jewelry.

For the LOVE of glass! Fascinated with the colors and beauty of glass as a child, when the opportunity came to be able to read a few books and purchase supplies for stained glass, I jumped on it! I have been creating in this wonderful medium for over 20 years now, and have never looked back. Glass techniques are always changing and growing and ever beautiful, and I have been blessed in the ability to pour my heart into it. Whether it is a simple sun catcher to filter sunlight through, or an intricate piece of art to display, I am able to pour my passion and love into it for someone else to be able to enjoy the beauty of glass.
