Thunder Auto Body

Due to the recent storm, I had the worst luck and a large tree branch hit my car *sadness*
I searched Unilocal and received an estimate from the highest rated company. They were polite, but I didn’t feel like they were listening to me or doing me any favors. So I needed a 2^nd opinion…
I found «Thunder Auto Body» same address as provided by Unilocal,different business name? I’ll have to ask them about that… I drove up (with no notice) and was greeted by a friendly gentleman by the name of «Daniel». He listened to my concerns, I showed him where the tree had damaged the car, but I couldn’t provide him any other details. He asked me if I was going through insurance or if I was paying out of pocket. I asked him, «What’s the difference?»
He explained that if it’s through insurance, then there’s set standards for how the repairs have to be made, a dented hood = hood replacement. But, if I have to pay out-​of-​pocket, they would do their very best to work with my budget to get the necessary repairs made to my satisfaction. Daniel stood outside with me for a good 15 minutes and pointed out 3 different points of damage on my otherwise pristine vehicle?! I literally didn’t notice until he pointed out the small dent on my hood and trim.
I felt a lot better knowing that Daniel was able to point out additional damage that would have otherwise been overlooked! I think I’m going to have to go with this shop, since they obviously give more time and attention. I will post a follow-​up review AFTER the body work is complete *smiles*
