Trail’s End has been serving owners of horses and other large animals since 2000. We are available seven days a week and twenty-​four hours a day. Trails End will work with your vet for scheduled appointments and is available in emergency situations for the compassionate removal of your deceased companion or farm animal. We are available for the removal of all animals, no matter what size, however, we specialize in any animal over 75 pounds.

History

Established in 2000.

Trail’s End was started in 2000 by Jan Neitz to provide a needed service to horse owners. At that time, the only option for removal was to wait for the truck from the rendering company. Jan wanted to provide an alternative that would be available right away to remove the remains of the large animals that often are a beloved companion. Over the years, Trail’s End has added additional services and we now offer burial, cremation, rendering and relocation. Trail’s End serves animal owners with professionalism and true caring for the details and emotions involved.

The owners of Trails End, Jill and Ken are owners of six wonderful horse companions. Jill also boards and trains a limited number of horses at their home in Desert Hills. Jill spends time riding, giving lessons and playing with their three wonderful dog buddies. Ken is the horse hero in the family who spends time playing with and feeding the horses without riding… they love him best :)
