Waxing By Tatianna – All Styles Salon

I got a Brazilian wax here and although it is never exactly a pleasant experience, this was horrible!!! I wax regularly but have NEVER had such a painful experience. Tatiana was eating when I entered the salon and seemed a bit annoyed that I interrupted although I was on time for my appointment. She never introduced herself, asked for paperwork, or did anything to make me feel welcomed or comfortable. She then took me to at small dingy room, told more to undress and wipe myself off with a tiny makeup pad. She seemed like she was brand new to waxing. Even putting the wax on was odd, like she was trying to spread it too thin or something, which pulled at my hair. Her technique was painful. She actually made me pull my skin taut while she pulled the wax off. When she finally finished (45 minutes later), I looked at it and she had left a big clump of hair. I told her I wanted it off so she went at it again and told me it was because the hairs were too short from shaving but I don’t shave, I wax. My skin is now red and irritated and I’m hoping that I didn’t get a skin infection or something worse! The whole experience was horrible. I don’t normally write negative reviews because I worry about effecting someone’s livelihood but I couldn’t think of someone else having to endure the torture I underwent. I should mention in all fairness that I found this as a «great» deal on craigslist so it’s true… you get what you pay for! I would not go back here for free!!! Do yourself a favor and do not get waxed by this woman. She is not professional or skilled.
