Had so much fun finding this place today since I needed NYE nails ASAP! So I stopped in here and they had a sale going on Mon-​Thurs and it is Thursday!!! 19.99 pedi and 5 dollars off a mani-​pedi! I will be back since it is so close to work.

Visited today and experienced efficient, fast andTelly. will the wedding be streamed online? friendly service while visiting From Hiouston. Would recommend.

I think I found my new nail place! Great service, pretty toes with a precious flower! Kim was so careful. Her work is beautiful. For a reasonable price… hot stone massage, hot towels, moisturizing massage, and gentle callus care. I will be back. I had to stop getting nails done after three!!! places filed my natural nails to a thin, wrecked mess. I will trust Kim to do them when they grow back a bit.

My girlfriends and I wanted to get pedicures and hopped on Unilocal to find a place. Whimsical Nails had some great reviews and so we decided to stop in. No wait, great pedicure chairs, impeccably clean, excellent color selection, and the technicians were very friendly. We were all able to sit together and enjoy the experience. Not to mention, we got a sweet check-​in deal. I like that they offer different tiers of manis and pedis. Their price point is hard to beat! We will definitely return in the future!

Great Service! Today was my first time going here based off Unilocal ratings and I had a great experience… I’ve found my new favorite pedicure place! Nice atmosphere and great service!

Probably one of the best gel manicures I’ve gotten in awhile. Additionally a very thorough pedicure. I will definitely be back.

I have been coming to this salon off and on for the past 8 years or so, great little family run place. My sister even had her and her entire wedding parties nails done here as well as several family members. This is a great place always welcome to walk ins, they take their time on everything, not a rushed process here. I went in for a pedicure recently and after sitting in the chair having my nails dry, I paid and was on my way home. Getting out of the car I somehow managed to scrape off my new nail polish. Not able to fix it at home I went back to the salon told them what I had done and they very nicely fixed it for me, for free. This was totally my fault, not theirs. This is one small example of how Whimsical Mails goes above and beyond!

Such a fun place, it is a small salon but all the ladies were so fun. Never tried to over sale, I had to remind her about the pattern but she was great about it! This is my new go to place!

Yesterday I went to have my nails done because I wasn’t happy with the place had gone. I think it was the manager who did my nails. she was very talkative and nice. I am very particular about the way my nails are done. I picked a picture from a webpage white with dots. She did a great job I will come back my nails have never looked better!!! I am not easily pleased. Thank you for making my day !!

My friend and I found this place because it had good reviews– we’ve been looking for a new place so we decided to check it out. We both had gel polish on our toes and wanted the same. Instead of wrapping our toes, they used the drill to get it off. My friend’s was much harder to get off and the lady kept getting her skin with it. The lady who did the scrubbing and clipping for me did a good job but then she passed me off to the guy (owner?) to do the gel. He apparently didn’t like how she cut my cuticles so he went back over and ended up cutting my big toe. Doesn’t apologize, just squirts some stuff over the cut. Then I notice that the polish on my toe is pretty messed up and instead of just removing it and starting over, he tries to file it down and file it down and paint over it with 10 coats. Then he gets an air can to I guess remove some of the filing debris and turns it upside down! Newsflash: freezing your customer’s skin is not good for business. When all is said and done, the polish looks terrible and I tell him I am not paying for the gel polish. He offered to redo it it but at this point, we had been there well over an hour and my toe hurt! Anyway, he agreed to not having to pay for the gel, which was nice but overall the experience was so bad. I noticed that three of my toes have bubbles in them, as well. Big time bummer– I would go to one of the many other salons in this area instead.

Walked in on a whim ;), with my sister, and was so happy we came here! The two nail techs were so friendly and gave us great manicures. They even indulged my endless indecision of picking a color and I finally found the perfect shade. When I’m in the area this will definitely be my choice of nail salon as i left feeling uplifted and refreshed with a quality mani.

Terrible experience and terrible pedicures.
My friend and I just got gel pedicures here today. Wish we hadn’t.
We chose this particular place because of the high Unilocal rating and reviews — no idea how they earned those.
Experience:
I always get gel polish on my toes because it lasts longer. When asking the lady at the front counter if they do gel pedis she looked confused/​concerned but said «yes.» — should have been our first clue.
They had us wait and pick our colors while the tubs were prepared and we let them know we already had gel polish on that would need to be removed. The removal of gel polish is typically done by using an emery board to scratch through the gel layers, then a small piece of acetone soaked cotton is placed on the scratched gel of each nail and wrapped in foil to soak off the gel polish. After a few minutes of soaking the polish is easily scraped away. Instead of using this typical method, Whimsical Nails used Dremels to shave off the layers of polish, and burning my cuticles and skin around my toes. After several burns, I asked the lady doing my nails to just wrap/​soak them. She proceeded to just pour acetone on my toenails and put one large cotton swab over them = not effective, but at least I saved some cuticles and skin from her Dremel. I was ready to leave at this point but my friend convinced me to stay (her experience ended even worse than mine).
Throughout the rest of the pedicure, the lady who was doing my nails was rude. She tried to force my foot in a direction that it was not physically able to move (so she didn’t have to move her chair?) and acted as though I wasn’t moving fast enough for her when switching my feet in and out of the gel lamp (trying not mess up the paint job she has just done) every. Single. Time.
I still tipped. But didn’t feel good about it.
I will not be returning.

I like this small family owned business. They take walk-​ins or appointments. I went in for a pedicure after seeing the sign out front advertising them for 19.99. The salon was clean and they were kind & friendly. They had the usual massage chairs and had all of the polish colors.
They are only 1 ½ miles
from my house. For the convenience and price, they can’t be beat!

My friend and I stopped in as walk-​ins and were instantly greeted. This place is clean, friendly, they have convent hours and wonderful service! We’ll defiantly be back!

Whimsical nails was great again. Ann and guy husband do great job teamwork. Pedi was awesome too. Sorry didn’t know gals name for pedi. Wax great job. Close convenient reasonably-​priced. Makes you feel welcomed calm atmosphere

Stopped by as we were traveling back to CA. The service was prompt and courteous. The salon was clean. I got a pedicure and was pleasantly surprised with a hot rock massage. What a nice touch. I would recommend and will use them again when I am back in the area.

Nice stop on the way back to California. They took good care of us, great hot stone with the pedicure. I highly recommend this family on establishment.

I have been going to Whimsical Nails and seeing Anna for almost a year. Mind you, this location is NOT convenient to my home (I live in N Scottsdale). But it is well worth the drive! It’s one of the cleanest nail salons I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many. The staff is always friendly and accommmodating.
Anna is always thorough and personable and the prices are very affordable for the services offered. I’ve always gotten just pedicures, but recently started getting the gel manicures and love them!
I’ve NEVER questioned the cleanliness or sanitation practices of Whimsical Nails because I’ve never had any issues. They always use sanitized implements and tools with each service. She (Anna) just started adding these disposable plastic liners for the pedicure baths and that just goes to show you how important cleanliness is to her/​their salon.
Give them a try and I’m sure you will also be pleased with their services and price!!!

I take my previous review back! I had gotten my nails filled here 3 times and then noticed mold growing under my nails! Yup MOLD! I was happy because they did my nails quickly and got me in and out but there is no price to pay for MOLD! I will never be going back here again!
