I love Gengi Go! It’s a quick and cheaper version of the original restaurant when your money is funny and your change is strange! I encourage everyone to go and try it because it’s so delicious! They are also very quick with their service!

The food here is excellent. You get enough food in one meal to feed two people. The Yum Yum sauce is very good.

For the life of me I will never understand restaurants(like this one) who don’t offer free water.

I’m not crazy about this place, but I don’t hate it. It’s good food, I just don’t understand why it’s so expensive? Everything is pretty basic, and it all comes together nicely, I just can’t understand how they arrive at the pricing they have. Anyhow, not a bad meal. I can see going to the restaurant for the full-blown experience and paying a bit more, I get that… but for fast-ish food, no thanks.

Delicious fresh and fast. No «volcano» or the other ambiance of the actual gengi but the same food, big servings. Same great taste. Pay the extra for extra rice, plenty of toppings to go around. Clean. Friendly busy staff. If there’s a line, don’t worry it moves fast.

Pretty good substitute for the original… at a much faster pace. I do think they overcharge for extra rice at $ 2.00. Also, to double the meat you can expect to pay an extra $ 5.00. The Yum Yum Sauce is the real deal though!

Always thought this was a perfect idea. Food is awesome and very filling! Minus one star for the price of food. You will be out $ 30-$ 40 if buying for family.

I LOVE Genji! So glad they made a to-go place for everyone. I’ve had some bad experiences here with very rude workers, I love the food so normally I just ignore the people if they are rude. I love the food, always good from what I order.

These are popping up everywhere, and the best part is that they aren’t in newly built buildings… they are repurposing abandoned buildings. While I still prefer the originally Genji restaurant, this does it’s job. You have an option of steamed or fried rice, meats — chicken, NY Strip, and Shrimp — or any combination — bean sprouts come as well… you can add onion, zucchini, and mushrooms… They offer generous portions of yum-yum or ginger sauces… you can eat there or to go. With the design of the facility to service high volume, you can’t customize your steak — it is cooked WELL done… However, they make the shrimp fresh with each order. This is a little pricier for lunch, but makes for a quick dinner.

Food not worth money or blowing the diet for. Over cooked mushy veggies. Very little veggies bland rice and meat. Don’t plan to return.

I purchase the chicken with fried rice($ 7) and added zucchini for $ 1. Total $ 8. I would say it’s a fair lunch portion. I think the steak is $ 8. Be prepared to pay a $ 1 for any topping you might add. The offer two sides of sauce(I went with 2 yum yum). If you compare the price to a dinner out at Genji, it’s a reasonable price. If you compare it to other fast casual dining, it’s a little more expensive. It’s nice to be able to access this meal quickly, but it’s a tad too pricy for me to frequent.
