Dr. Lee was very thorough in his examination and answered all my questions. He spends so much more time with his patients than any other optometrist I’ve ever been to. I got my contact lens and prescription glasses from him and was very happy with the work he did. There is also a rather large selection of frames to choose from. The staff was also very friendly and respectful making the whole experience rather enjoyable.

The secretary is very rude. I had been here one before, and I had stop by after a year and half to get a pair of glasses because I had misplaced them. When I first came in, I could already tell this lady had an attitude. But, I was being nice… not getting worked up. However, she continued to be rude. I could not believe it. I usually never complain, but I did. I complaint to the doctor. She did not yell, but she was very rude and was acting as if I was bothering her. Never coming here again.

The guy could not get my contact lenses prescription, he gave up after THREE times
(2 months total between trials). Wasted my time and money, maybe if he didn’t used stuffed animals video clips like if I was a 3 year old. Also the woman at the front desk gave my wife some other person’s prescription contact lenses (Obviously prepared by this guy). Definitely never going back. Two stars because he got my glasses prescription right. hooray!

I first came to Dr. Lee 2 years ago with my 3 year old daughter for an eye infection. I was happy to get a same day appointment. Very friendly staff with hardly any wait. Dr. Lee was very friendly and welcoming. I liked the fact that he listened to my concerns and took his time to examine my daughter. Since then I have taken 3 of my other children from 1 – 18 years old and have been very pleased. Dr. Lee is very professional and shows he genuinely cares for his patients.

I came here for a contact lens/​glasses exam and their service was amazing. I even was advised to wait on purchasing all my contacts so my insurance could renew. I was given a trial pair to help me out until I purchased the boxes of contacts. Very friendly staff! I would recommend this place to all my friends!

Dr. Ernest Lee is patient, attentive, and informative, and is just a great guy all around. He also works very well with kids. I highly recommend him. He takes his time with each and every patient and shows genuine concern. It is obvious that he really loves his job and patients. The staff here is also very friendly and helpful. They take all major insurance and the prices are reasonable.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ernest Lee for my optometry needs for 3 years now. I like that he is very thorough and professional. He takes his time during my exam and never rushes me or rushes through. He answers any questions/​concerns I have and doesn’t make me feel stupid. I like that he’s got this glasses case with trial lenses in the exam room. He has me try on the glasses with my prescription before he orders them. I’ve been to optometrists in the past where I’ve gotten glasses that are way too strong. I highly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone who asks. The office staff is really friendly too.

Dr. Lee is actually a personal friend of mine, but don’t let that fool you to think this is a biased review of his office.
Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to your needs. He is very thorough and always makes sure you’re happy before you leave.
His office is located in a strip mall in between In-​n-​Out and El Pollo Loco facing Rosemead Blvd. Parking directly in front of his office can be a pain, but there’s plenty of parking in the same strip mall around the corner.
Dr. Lee offers a large selection of designer frames as well as a selection of cheaper frames for those who only want what insurance covers. My only gripe is that I’m a huge fan of Oakley sunglasses and their selection of Oakley Rx frames is limited, but that’s just a personal preference.
Dr. Lee also cuts lenses in-​house, so turnaround time for your Rx frames is within a week, but if you’re in a bind and need it the same day, arrangements can be made to accommodate your schedule.
The only bad thing (but also a good thing) is that his office can get pretty busy. It’s a good idea to call and make an appointment before you arrive. An appointment is not required, but recommended.
