spcaLA has been dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention, and Advocacy since 1877. The Center opened in November 2014.

spcaLA is led by our President, Madeline Bernstein, a highly accomplished, respected attorney and one of America’s preeminent leaders and advocates promoting animal welfare. Under her leadership, spcaLA is a leader in preventing cruelty to animals through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention, and Advocacy.
