Bay Design & Build is the best contractor that I have dealt with. Whether you are looking to restore a historic estate from ground up, or just need some windows replaced, Brian and his crew are the guys you should call first. I have dealt with dozens of contractors and sub contractors over the years, and have worked on many types of property, both commercial and residential. My wife and I found Brian to be everything that you hope a great contractor will be. Trustworthy, punctual, talented, honest, and within stated budget and completion time frame. Brian also thinks outside of the box and welcomes input and ideas from the homeowner, and even other tradespeople. We felt completely at ease working with Brian and can say that we are extremely satisfied with his renovation work of our kitchen and baths, which included removing walls, staircase, chimney, etc. He does great structural work, as well as detailed woodwork and custom craftsmanship that you rarely see today. He specializes and is knowledgeable about different architectural and build styles that are commonly found in the older, more established neighborhoods in the Bay Area. The updates he did in our home look as they had always been there. He owns a complete woodworking shop and was able to replicate many of the original details and trim in our 85 year old home. Brian is passionate about his work, and it truly shows in the finished product.
