Went on a Sunday about 1 pm. It was so unbelievably cramped and stuffy that my claustrophobia got the best of me and we had to pack up our food and leave early. We were seated so close to the people next to us we could barely move without touching. And not to mention it was so overly warm inside, did not feel like the air con was on at all despite it being hot out. It was a special day, was there for a celebration, and we chose this spot carefully and we’re excited. Won’t be going back.

This is a great place for brunch– lots of choices but we had french toast and mimosas– one person in our group had a burger and fries. Everyone was happy with their food. Place wasn’t too busy, so no wait for table and service was great– our waitress was friendly and efficient! Cant wait to go back again to try other items on the menu

This is a very nice place with good food. The wings are excellent and I would def recommend it! We went here for brunch and the place was packed. Even considering that fact, the food was cooked well and the service was still top quality.

We decided to try this place because of many of the great reviews. We found the staff and service quite good. But that’s where I leave it. The glass of Pino Grigio they offered was not good at all. The food was good but not worth the price. My wife had one of the salads and I chose a burger dish. The bill came to $ 64 with tip. Quite pricey. Piermont is a great little town and has some good restaurants but at the end of the day I wasn’t impressed.

The place is located in an idyllic and well-maintained town off Route 9W. The restaurant seemed to embodied this charm quite well. Nice quiet place for an early Saturday dinner. No reservations, but we didn’t have to wait too long for a table. The hostess was pleasant and quickly showed us to our table. The waitress was nice and provided great feedback on the popular items on the menu. The corn bread provided was nice and moist. While butter was not really necessary, it didn’t really spread too well on the bread. Apps: Ordered the mussels and tuna tartare. The mussels was a decent portion for two, fresh, cleaned well(no impression of grit), and had nice flavor. However, it was somewhat lacking in broth. The tuna tartare was served in a small applesauce size container on a plate with wonton nachos and dots of siracha /mayo sauce. It was okay and definitely could have used a little more avocado. Entrees: Ordered the Fish tacos and Southwest burger. The fish tacos was really tasty. The fish was firm and maintained its integrity with each bite. It was topped with a generous amount of salsa, cabbage, and guacamole. The burger, while juicy and nicely cooked, was a bit disappointing. I did not get the spice I would expect from something sold as «Southwest.» The chipotle flavor, if any, was really faint. The dish was saved by the side of Parmesan truffle fries that was spot on. Crispy fries, not overly salted, with just the right amount of truffle oil.

Wow, that chipwich. Wow. I had read about the handmade chipwich, and since we were going to be in Piermont anyway… Started with dinner at Pier 701, and then walked to 14 and Hudson exclusively for dessert. We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered up some Chipwiches. HOLYGOD. That is the best dessert I have ever had. It’s worth the drive up there just to get this. Why more restaurants don’t keep it simple and delicious for dessert, I have no idea. We will be back to eat a full meal soon, just so we can get more chipwiches.

Lovely small casual restaurant in the quaint village of Piermont. Delicious appetizers, meatballs, pork dumplings and blue crab empanadas. Garganelli, burgers, healthy chicken Cobb salad amongst the choices of local farm sources on a traditional American menu, complimented with a selection of wine, beers and cocktails. Attentive and friendly service. Do make a reservation, they fill up quickly!

This was my first time at 14& Hudson and I had such a wonderful time! My hostess and waitress were very nice. I went with one friend and as an appetizer we got the Bacon and Asparagus — it was delicious! On the small side though, only 3 pieces of bacon(nice thick cut bacon) and 3 pieces of asparagus, but the frisse(sp?) salad was very well dressed and the poached egg was perfect. My friend loved her Crab BLT, and I ordered the steak salad. Talk about delicious!!! I asked for substitutions and deductions from my salad and it came out perfectly! Nice, big salad. The steak was cooked just how I asked and was so delicious. Our meal ended up being approx $ 54, with no alcohol, and it was so worth it. I keep on telling all my friends about this restaurant and how they MUST go there. I’m honestly itching to go back!

Had the pleasure of eating here for the first time tonight. Everything was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is great, and the food was perfect. Must haves were the Korean Steak buns and the Hudson Burger. The deserts were incredible as well!

I’ve been here twice for brunch. The first time I tried the fried chicken sandwich which was fantastic. It was juicy and crunchy, just the way fried chicken should be. The second time I had the crab cake BLT sandwich, which also was out of this world. The entrees are about $ 16-$ 19 each but it included a mimosa or bloody mary so it’s not a bad deal. The also have an upstairs space for events that I would assume is limited to about 100 people. The service was great even thought the place was packed both times. I have a feeling we will be back.

Went here today for brunch/lunch with my mom. I was very impressed! A very cute quaint place with a bar and small seating area. I believe there is an upstairs as well but didn’t get to check it out. The food was very good. We started with Spinach and Artichoke dip that was amazing! My mom got the French toast and I got an egg frittata. Our server Tori was very attentive and sweet. Overall a great experience. I recommend this place for brunch/lunch. I would also recommend calling ahead if you have a large party because it does get busy! 4⁄5 stars simply because my egg frittata was good, but not amazing. I blame myself for ordering incorrectly for what I was in the mood for.

We went here last night to celebrate my dad’s 81st birthday. It was a great time. First I want to address the staff– top notch. The waitress and hostess couldn’t be more accommodating. I had my 6-month old in tow, and the hostess made sure that we were comfy and happy when we arrived, which I really appreciated. I would say it’s probably not a «family restaurant» per se– It’s more for adult time; however, we did bring our daughter(we have a pretty good, quiet baby… not bragging… or anything… just kidding :). Anyway, the restaurant is tight, and I was afraid of clocking folks in the head as I brought in my car seat– the hostess grabbed the reigns and transported baby safely without any causalities. The things that make us happy. Another small detail is when it came time to sing happy birthday– the staff waited until all our party was present. At least three of us at the table didn’t even notice anyone was missing… It just seemed very thoughtful on their part. horribly terrible on our part. Again little things that make a huge difference. Finally, the food is great! I had the french onion soup, which was yummy. It had hints of tomato, but I could be wrong. There was something different and delicious about it. Slow braised short rib– also very good. I liked the garnishes the best. I think it was the first time I enjoyed Brussels sprouts. And last but not least– you must treat yourself to the ice cream cookie sandwich! Oh boy. Bön Appetit!

Wow. Just wow. I wanted to take my wife out for a nice dinner in Piermont. While researching I notice that 14&Hudson had an email address before I noticed they had a opentable option. So I emailed them. Was I surprised to get a response from the owner, Paula, at 4am. I told my situation and she said she would see what she can do. Long story short, later when I looked at my open table app Paula had update the time. Amazing Then after an amazing dinner, I asked to speak to her to thank her, and through conversation finding out it was our anniversary, she then treated us to a dessert. The food, atmosphere and everything was top notch. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been here four times, four weekends in a row. ‘Nuff said. But some details on why: The food is amazing. Not only are you guaranteed to find something that will please your palate, you will be shocked at the flavor combos, quality & freshness of ingredients, and the Chef’s creativity in each dish. They make«ordinary» items not-so-ordinary by putting a unique twist. Their Artichoke Dip is serious crack and comes with house-fried pita chips — no frozen artichoke dip or tortilla chips here! Even their wings… Yumm! That Sweet Chili & Black Pepper Glaze is my kryptonite. Salmon Burger is topped with things like Frisée, Guacamole Cilantro, and more & comes with a side of housemade pickles and paperbag fries — ugh! So good I can’t stand it. They’ve thought of everything. I’ve tried at least a dozen items on their menu, yet I find myself excited to try more. Carlos! We love him. Seriously, Carlos is your ideal bartender who helps complete your bar experience at 14& Hudson. He’s attentive, helpful with suggestions, friendly-not-because-he-has-to-be, and just quick with service! Joe is another favorite, but, honestly, all their staff help make the experience a great one. As most people know, Hospitality is important to me and feeling like a valued guest is my favorite. They recognize and show appreciation to their regulars at 14& Hudson. Their crafty cocktails! Granted, I’ve only tried three — yet I keep coming back to my favorite… Pins & Needles. I must admit, I’m on a Gin kick right now,(especially Hendrick’s), plus I’m always on a simple syrup kick(and this has Rosemary Simply Syrup, whattt). The ambiance — I find it more dimly lit than other places, which I love. It’s always a cozy, comfortable environment whether you’re alone or not. This place is perfect for dates, catching up with a friend, intimate celebrations, and small private events(space upstairs). Tips: They have weekend HH! You don’t find that very often. Saturdays 11:30a-6:00p and Sundays all day. Yes, HAPPYHOURALLDAY. Highly recommend. Customer for life.

Outstanding! My favorite dish is the Baja Fish Tacos. A delicious combination of fresh savory flavors in every bite. The Garganelli dish was superb. The egg on top is unusual but added such flavor! Eric & Paula Woods are doing so many things right!

I serendipitously found this place on Unilocal when I happened to be in Piermont one day so I feel like I have to return the good juju and write a review. On a lazy Sunday, in the off hours between lunch and dinner, I Unilocaled best restaurants in Piermont and found 14& Hudson open. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely meal of melt in your mouth burrata, perfectly crispy crab cakes, and juicy Korean bao buns, washing it all down with cold summer beers on tap. I liked this place so much that I contacted Paula, owner/events manager, about hosting a party there. The space is so nice and the event space is spacious, well lit and the energy is right. After looking at a lot of event spaces in the city in the basements and caves, this space was a welcome breath of fresh air. Paula and I worked together to create a custom menu, décor, and she was very accommodating, working within our budget, and really understanding everything from food preferences, aesthetics, and general feel. The party was so fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Everyone loved the food. The staff was so helpful and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this place for either a nice meal or a perfect party. Thanks Paula, Eric, and staff! We’ll be returning soon.

The gorgeously postcard worthy town of Piermont lies on the banks of the Hudson River within view of the Tappan Zee Bridge. The main drag(Piermont Aveue) is a wonderful collection of shops restaurants and watering holes. After we strolled to the waterfront, we walked up Piermont Ave and stopped at 14& Hudson for a few cocktails and an appetizer. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a terrific view of the comings and goings on Permont Avenue. We settled on a Bad Ass Apple Cider for $ 5 and a beer from the local guy –Defiant Brewing of Pearl River NY. Tonight’s Seasonal Defiant was an Orange Crème for $ 7. The beer was mild and deliciously drinkable, with a hint of Shocktop Orange flavor. The cider is from nearby Blauvelt NY, and it was equally refeshing. We split a $ 10 order of Pork Dumplings. We got seven browned and crispy dumplings with a nice ground pork filling served with a sweet dipping sauce. No complaints at all. As a nice surprise, we received two freebie mini corn muffins that were stellar. What a very cool place.
