Super 8 Pigeon Forge/Emert Street

I travel a lot and frequently stay at Super 8. This is great place to stay, great friendly staff and new renovated facilities. The only complaint is the WiFi. It is absolutely terrible. I spoke with front desk several times and even they complained that it sucked. I spoke with a different manager and received same that it sucked and was recently installed with issues.
This will not keep me from staying again… just know if you need Internet be prepared for possible issues.

I recently went here in May 2014. I was alittle skeptical about it because of the reviews I was reading. Some were good some were bad. I booked my stay here cause the price wasn’t bad. It was cheaper to book through Super 8 website. Check in was a little late than I wanted, 3pm. I requested to be check in earlier and they managed a half hour before 3 so I was happy. The rooms were newly renovated as it states on trip advisor. The bed was very comfortable if you like that memory foam type bed. The rooms are joined together. When we stayed there wasn’t a lot of guest so it didn’t really bother us. Overall I was pleased with the room. The only thing was that the refrigerator in our room didn’t have a freezer section. I was also pleased with their breakfast area, just wish it would have been longer. I believe it was from 7 to 9am or 6 to 9am. The pool was open when we were staying there and I thought it was a decent size. The staff is very friendly there and it was located in a good area near alot of places to eat and close to Dollywood.
This was my first trip to TN and I loved it. The people and the city it was all great. I am planning on going back next summer and staying here again. I definitely recommend this Super 8 for anyone traveling to Pigeon Forge.

We found bugs in our bed around 3am after returning from the bars (see photos that I have uploaded) so after making a complaints was moved to a new room… thirty minutes later, we realize the air conditioner isn’t working so we complain and move to a third room… it’s hard to move rooms multiple times in the middle of the night and not forget anything when you’re drunk off your ass on vacation but hey for the 26 dollars a night we were paying we really couldn’t complain much so as the old tale goes, ya get what you pay for, just check your bed for bugs! The hotels response was «we keep spraying for them and they are not bed bugs».
