Rowland Pizzeria and Cafe

I would not recommend this eatery. We arrived around 1:30 for lunch on a Saturday. No one greeted us, we sat at a table a man who I guess is the owner cleaned another table and asked us whAt we wanted. We asked for a white and pepperoni pizza. We were never offered drinks. After waiting for a while one pizza arrived a cheese pizza not the pepperoni we ordered. We were not given plates or ever asked what type of beverages we like. We were not given silverware. We waited till the second pizza arrived to ask about drinks and see if we could get plates. The lighting wasn’t good and the man told us his waitress didn’t show up. There was dust on the tables and a propane tank with a heater attached to it for heat. The price was great and the man was nice just frazzled.

Can’t say enough about their house pie — amazing. The café has a great atmosphere and friendly owner. Live music Friday nights and a delicious breakfast on weekends. Always stop by when in the area. Get a table near the windows and soak up local charm.
