I am a rehabber and a realtor. I buy and sell lots of houses. For my latest house, the buyer chose this company to do the settlement long distance, as I live on the west coast. For the most part, they were like most title companies. Then it came time to get my settlement money. On the settlement day, they told me that the lender needed some paperwork with my original signature. I thought it was very unprofessional and a major oversight that they told me at settlement. But ok. I got that to them the next business day. A week passes and I call them about my money. They told me they will mail it out overnight. I wait several days. They tell me to wait a couple more because they did mail it, but using regular mail *this should have been the biggest red flag. who sends a large check in regular mail? I call them a couple days later and they tell me they can’t believe I didnt get it and will wire it like I had requested several times. They tell me they are going to put a stop payment and then mail the check out the next day via overnight. I wait two days and call, and they say they mailed it out the previous day. I get the check finally and deposit it right away. A couple of hours later, I get a call from my realtor who says that his check bounced! He then also told me how the title company had also done this before with another client and 2 out of 2 just seemed like more than a coincidence. Now I realize that they never mailed me the first check using«regular mail» and the paperwork was probably a ruse to buy(20) TWENTY days of not paying me tens of thousands of dollars which I’m sure they used to pay previous settlements. So yes, I recommend that you not use this company because Integrity Title has none, nor do they say Thank you.
