They are just baaaaad. You get a quick dip and fresh plastic. That’s about the best I can say. They put a tag saying they can’t get the simplest stain out. They don’t try. I wish I could give them an eighth of star. that’s more accurate.

I used this zips location for about 3 months without any problems. However, about a month or so ago when I dropped off my clothes, they were returned to me with burn holes in 3 pairs of brand new pants. I went through the proper channels to have this resolved, and I eventually spoke with the owner. He informed me that he wouldn’t refund me and took no responsibility for the mistake. The company policy is to reject clothes with defects, and he did admit that if indeed the clothes were not his companies fault, that his employees failed at doing their jobs. This is unprofessional business behavior. I have since found a new dry cleaner and haven’t had any issues. Unless you want your clothes ruined — Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This place isn’t managed professionally. Side note: While collecting invoices for the damaged clothes, the salesperson at my clothing shop mentioned this dry cleaner before I mentioned any names — This place has a well deserved bad reputation in the area — Do your research.

I have been using Zipps at this location for about 1 year. The majority of my clothing I get laundered and dry cleaned so I am regularly bringing in items and large amounts. The first indication was 5 months in when for the first time in 25 years of dry cleaning services I was missing clothing. I went to Zipps and inquired of the manager if they had any lost or unidentified clothing that had not been claimed. He took me in the back to show me a rack of items to look through but, of course, my items were no where to be found. Couple of months after that I again had a shirt and a pair of slacks come up missing. When I inquired again I received the same less than enthusiastic response to my complaint with no resolution. After tearing up my closet to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind and overlooking my items, I wanted to speak to the owner. Of course, depending on who you talk to there, I got 2 –3 different answers as to when the owner is available and onsite, all of which seemed to be very little and at times of day that most people are working. Fast forward to recently and yup, you guessed it, more items missing. This time 4 more shirts unaccounted for with no idea what happened to them. I went to the store this time and demanded they investigate this. The manager, after having to demand some action, pulled my tickets from the past month and said he would review the video to see what I had picked up. Promised to get back to me the next day and I still have not heard from him several days later. It is really upsetting to be treated as if I have nothing better to do than to play CSI to find my clothing. Customer service is pretty much non-existent at this place and it seems to stem from the top. I guess because its inexpensive the ownership feels it owes its customer nothing in the form of attention to detail and good interaction and follow up with customers. Sure its fast, inexpensive but ultimately not worth it if the establishment is careless with my items and doesnt care to help me resolve issues with its service. Now I am out several hundreds of dollars in clothing that I likely cant find again and replace even if I was given the money for them. Sometimes inexpensive is just plain CHEAP and in the case of this place, very fitting.

I have only been here once but, I surely will go back here is why: 1. I took a pageant gown here to be cleaned a day before my pageant and it was done amazingly. Very clean and nicely pressed. 2. The customer service was great! Very friendly staff. 3. I like the text notification, which alerted me that my garment was was completed 2 hrs ahead of schedule. I am going to send my other garments here !

If I could give this horrible place negative stars, I would! I took a gown there(should have known better) that I wore to a very lively smelled horribly when I dropped it off, and horribly when I picked it up! Not to mention that the bodice was stretched out! First I was told that for $ 1.99, I don’t get my garment«deodorized»…so, I guess they just press funky garments? The stretched bodice was blamed on the hangar… laughable! The rude, unprofessional owner came out and blamed it on a myriad of things. from inferior quality(a $ 400 gown from Nordstrom) to the hangar. When I asked him about the smell, he shrugged his shoulders and said” I don’t smell a thing” and walked away. I guess technically he was right, since he never sniffed it! I filed a BBB complaint against him and he still took no responsibility, said normally he would have cleaned it again but he didn’t think anything would satisfy me. what a poor attitude and horrible customer service. Please don’t go here!!! My next complaint is with the attorney general’s office, and small claims court if that fails. I have told all family members, co– workers and as many social networks to stay away from this chop shop. Believe me and the others who have said this place ruins your clothes, blames you and has a nasty owner. I’m sorry they ever had my business. Buyer Beware!!!

I like this Zips and think that it is better than other Zips I have used in the Baltimore-Towson area. The people are helpful and friendly — in fact, they are nicer than staff at most businesses in Maryland. I’m surprised at the low reviews. I use this Zips at least two times a month. They do a good job cleaning, will fold rather than hang sweaters if you ask. They worked hard to try to get spots out of a down comforter — really went far beyond what was required(I never thought the spots would come out). I really like this place and have taken some of my most expensive suits there. I don’t know that is a wise thing to do, but other than Glyndon Lord Baltimore Cleaners(VERY expensive), I don’t know a clearners that I like more. I don’t think you can do better for the price than at this Zips. All Zips require cash payment and, if that keeps the cost low, it’s fine with me.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would!!! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!!! I took a spring coat there and it can back far worse than it was when i dropped it off. How is that possible!!! There are additional stains on it and every button was gone! I had not noticed it until I got home. Called back and the woman told me it could have been because the buttons were loose. They were not! I had dropped of three winter coats when I picked my ruined coat. Told her they better not dare touch those coats and I would pick them up first thing in the morning along with my refund. If you care about your garments, Spend the money and take your clothes to a legitimate dry cleaner. With zips you’ll need the money you save to repair the damage they do.

This is a good place that offers a standard price of $ 1.99 for basic items such as dresses, pants, shirts etc Ive always been satisfied with the end result! If you get your clothes in before 9AM you can get it back after 5PM! My only gripe is that its a CASH only and pay before service policy… not cool especially if their ATM is out of service and you have no cash which happened to me once… For the price its cool…
