I never thought I would have to read a review for a «chain» restaurant but I guess I should have! I ordered 5 meals. It took 25 minutes. It was NOT busy. They were unapologetic and proceeded to tell me they were servicing the«to go». I said«I thought this was a fast food restaurant?» They said«No it’s not» If you HAVE to eat here, clear choice is to go. They gave us ice cream, but I had to ask

Stopped by after checking out the Texas Tulips. This could have been a day where they were unprepared for the traffic, but with 4 people working, it wasn’t nearly enough. It took nearly 30 minutes to get our order, then it was lukewarm when we did. The ketchup dispenser was empty, and had been for a long time. The personalities of the staff were cold(and probably overworked). Not a smile on anyone’s face, no apologies for the long waits. When I was ready to leave, I got in line to get an ice cream and literally waited another 10 minutes, this time just to see how long it actually took for a cashier to return, but they were all so busy filling old orders that they stopped taking orders until they were able to catch up. This results in business walking out the door as they were tired of waiting. Poorly staffed, poorly managed, just a poorly run establishment.

My husband and I ate at this Dairy Queen yesterday and thought it was nice, the service was fast and friendly, the food was well prepared and hot, the table was clean and the bathrooms were clean. As far as Dairy Queen goes, it was one of the nicest ones I have been in.

It’s Dairy Queen. Can’t expect more than fast food. The exception, I guess, would be the soft serve icecream treats. Who doesn’t like Blizzards? They’re the best! This location is in an older building and could use some help. The staff is mostly made up of high school kids(again, it’s fast food) which seems to change frequently. No biggie. If you’ve eaten at a DQ before, then you know what you are getting into. If you haven’t eaten at a DQ… WHYNOT! It’s Texas!

Nicest shift manager ever on duty at lunch today. Think they confused me with royalty or something. And my steak fingers were ONPOINT!

Parts of the DQ are blocked off, so all the seating is in one section… apparently with a bench that isn’t fastened down so it shakes with the least movement. We got blizzards. I got a flavor we’ve gotten at 4 or 5 different DQs and it’s been pretty consistent, here it tasted different. They weren’t as full as we normally get elsewhere, and the person who fixed it didn’t do the upside down thing… not that I really care, but I did notice she didn’t do it, and those blizzards probably would have fallen out.(I like it a bit softer, so that wasn’t a complaint) Then a bit later the manager made one for someone, and it was like he was showing off, he held the blizzard upside down, shook it, talked to the guy who bought it, who asked for his blizzard 3 or 4 times, the manager apparently wanted the guy to say it looks good… because the guy didn’t get the blizzard until repeated whatever it was the manager said… Just a completely weird experience, all the way around.

This place really ticks me off!!! Every time I order a medium or large blizzard, there is 3 inches of mixture and topping on top and then nothing but plain vanilla ice cream from there on to the bottom. If I wanted an almost entire cup of vanilla soft serve I would order that specifically. Gees!!!

We got a blizzard and a peanut buster parfait from them on Friday night. Both were great. We went through the drive thought and the service was friendly and quick. I love DQ!

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Dirty. The AC didn’t work. Smokey because the exhaust fan didn’t work. Slow to fill the order. Left stuff off the order. That about says it all.

The location is great, but the food and service are horrible. I went today for lunch and order the new bacon guacamole burger. After waiting in the parking lot for 20 mins, I finally went inside, and before I could ask, the blonde lady in the kitchen yelled it’s coming, I ain’t never made it before. I said nothing and waited. when I received my food I left. I got back to the office and the onion rings on the burger were not cooked all the way, as well as the bacon. So basically I got fries and a bottle water for $ 9.00. So not worth it. THUMBSDOWN

If I could give negative stars this place would get it. To start we waited 20 minutes to order, then he kid over charged us by 20.00 on our credit card(the same thing happened to the lady after us) and they had no idea how to fix the problem so they gave us cash back. We then waited over 25 minutes for ice cream. I went up to ask and the«manager«person yelled at the kid who took our order… I then watched him wander seeming very confused about how to make the blizzards and what went in them. My step daughter and I got ours. my husband waited at least another 5 minutes until I asked what the problem was. The kid did not know how to make the«Hawaiian» AREYOUKIDDINGME. So it was almost an hour until we all got our ice cream. On top of that the place was run down and dirty. I called the manager three times and no response. I think the best bet is to NEVER go again.

This Dairy Queen location is right off 377 in Pilot Point, Tx. The building and parking lot are old, ugly and in a major state of disrepair and need some updating. The drive thru and dine in service is fast and friendly. The food is on par with any other Dairy Queen I have visited over the years. Good burgers, chicken fingers, chicken fried steak fingers or sandwich(I recommend you try either… gotta have the cream gravy for dipping!!). The real star is the frozen desserts… ice cream shakes made thick and creamy that they call Blizzards are kinda what Dairy Queen may be best known for. They are rich and delicious! I recommend you get a smaller size than you think you should because they are so filling it’s hard to finish sometimes. They also have most other ice cream favorites like sundaes, banana splits, malts, ect. Dairy Queen is lovingly nicknamed«the Texas stop sign» so it always brings back nostalgic feelings for me of my youth driving through rural Texas.
