Regular unleaded was $ 4.57/gallon. Holy cripes! Pays to be the only gas station for miles. The convenience store was stocked full of local San Diego beers which was kind of cool. Found a horchata flavored one by Screaming Beaver.

We are new to PV and this little gem is my favorite! Their pizza is delicious! I mean it! They make it fresh and homemade right in front of you. (if you care to stay and watch) I more than appreciate their kindness to my wild child as well! They love her and always make her feel special. Another, their craft beer, although about 2 – 3 $ more each pack, it’s super fresh. Which is wonderful. With craft the fresher the better. This place has it 2 weeks in. I love that. I recommend this place for sure. They are a little pricey but hey you’re 20 min from alpine. So the convenience itself covers the additional cost to others.
Wait wait wait!!! I nearly forgot the brownies!!! H-​E-​A-​V-​E-​N Bobs killer brownies are SO DELICIOUS! Out of this world! Be sure to get one of those. Even if you get nothing else!

Driving from El Centro to San Diego we stopped here as the car was sucking down gas like a madman going through those hills.
The woman preparing the gas station food was very loud about her love life. It really nauseating. So I guess they have really redneck folk everywhere
At least the bathroom was reasonably clean.
