Established in 1988.

The J Tillman Group started in 1988 with John Basinger, Incorporated in 1997 and working today 23 years later.

We began in the industry in Old Snowmass, moving into Boulder, then to Evergreen/​Conifer Area in 1991. We have been located in the Evergreen/​Conifer are ever since. We build conventionally framed homes & hand crafted log homes. We remodel both types of homes and will provide free estimates. We offer Senior Discounts on remodeling projects.

Business Owner

John started the J Tillman Group in 1988 thought it wasn’t know initially as such. Over the years it was recommended that we incorporate and in 1997 we did exactly that. John has a well rounded understanding of every aspect of any residential project and has physically completed every task necessary to build custom homes. From excavation through the final trimmings, John has learned the do’s and don’ts of every trade and is physically capable of showing any trade the correct way to do any portion of their task.
